ChenHsong Multi-functional Computer1. Features:
This computer controller whose power supply ranges from AC110V to AC 280V,
50/60HZ, is developed by Japan and meets JIS acceptance standards, featuring color
LCD of 320×240,backlighting LED which is high in brightness and long in service
life, and the most advanced SMT technology adopted to electronic components and
production process to ensure stability and dependability. In addition, it is capable of
storing data for more than 5 years even the power is shut off to provide security and
reliability, offers Chinese and English languages options for free switch facilitating
study and operation, provides a smart detector for fault and instructions for auxiliary
operation, and fully support iChen wireless network system.
2. Basic functions:1. Store 150 sets of data on molding, e.g. time, time, times, pressure, speed, stroke,
measurement, mold thickness & name, selection condition, material temperature and so
on.
2. Prompts at large for online operation.
3. Classified lock for password for software data.
4. Prevention against and prompt for data input so the operator would not make
improper modification. Any modification can be saved via iChen System to the central
server for backup.
5. The most advanced SMT technology is adopted to assemble the electronic plate to
secure high dependability.
6. 32 CPU of high speed is used.
7. The value for mold clamping position is automatically set.
8.Injection nozzle proportion and temperature control (Standard), supporting additional
furnace mouth thermometer (optional).

10. Functions of protection against cold burden startup, automatic thermal insulation,
detection for nozzle clog and mold overflow.

the initialization is over, release the keys to proceed.

Speed setting ranges from 00%~99%, in which 00% means zero speed.

Time setting ranges from 0~999.9 sec.
Counter setting ranges from 0~65535.
Mold thickness setting ranges from 0~999.9mm.
(4) To check if the function keyboard is all right. (5) To monitor the operation states of all outputs, inputs, timer and counter. (6) To display the injection curve. (7) To review help information.

Manual operation is applicable to single motion of the whole circle.
3.1.6 Power Switch
(1) Emergency Stop
It's at the left lower corner of the controller panel, red . Press it to cut off
the power. To reboot the machine, turn the knob in the direction indicated by arrow to
release this stopper.
(3) StartupIt’s at the right lower corner of the controller panel, green. After the emergency
stop is released, press this key to power the machine on. This key is designed to
protect the controller system.
(3) Equipped with voltage stabilizer of high performance, this controller is enabled toapplicable to power input of AC90-AC265V, 50/60HZ with vast variation.

(1) After the compute is powered on and when the system is performing automatic test,at which moment the startup screen (00) is displayed, just input the account no. and
password you will be authorized to log into the control system if the system is online,
then, press the CLEAR

indicates the model, machine no. and the running program, in the event the machine
wants maintaining or technical answer to the inquiry, please fill the customer service
of this factory with these data so as to enjoy expeditious service.
(2) The system will switch to screen (02) 3 seconds later if the startup is not manuallyintervened, as this screen prompts: please input the 6-digit password, to skip please
press Menu Page key. If the corresponding password is input, then it will not
demanded again to input the password when you see this screen as the compute is
powered on but the system will directly enters into the page. This password is set by
the operator, administrator or the factory, 3 seconds later the system will
automatically run into the screen (03).

(4) Switch option of pressure holding : Switch between filling and
pressure holding:
(i)Time: With this option, as the timer TIM014 runs out, the
pressure holding is switched over.
(ii)Position: With this option, the pressure holding is set at the
position of 5th stage
(iii)Press: Pressure sensor should be used in conjunction with this
option, as the injection pressure reaches the preset value, the
pressure holding will be switched over.
(5) Nitrogen injection: As this option is set on, the Nitrogen injectiondevice is available(this device is to be specially ordered by the
user).
(6) Alarm against leakage: As this option is set on, when there is
plastic leakage at the nozzle, the alarm will sound. (Additional
device)
(7) Alarm against shortage: As this option is set on, the alarm will go
off as the bucket is short of material; as this option is set off, even if the
cooling time is over but the plasticizing is not finished, yet the alarm
will not go off.
(8) Synchronous motion
(i) Ejection: As this option is set on, it is possible toopen mold while ejection is being carried out. This
position where the mold starts opening when the ejection
starts.
(ii) Plasticizing: With this option on, it is possible to
open mold and carry out ejection while plasticizing.
(iii) Core pulling: With this option on, it’s possible to
carry out core-in/out motion while opening and clamping
mold.
(iv) Not used

terms and this manual shall refrain from elaborating.

(1) For mold clamping If the computer power is cut off when opening or clamping mold, then
the alarm of “Reset Staring Point Please Press Mold clamping Key
Until the Alarm Disappears” will be displayed on the screen after
reboot, following is the method to reset the initial position:

initialization, set 9999P as DD , this value must be larger than the preset
value in the option of decelerating mold opening (termination). Then
move the cursor back to the option of mold clamping presetting and press

Presetting- Manual adjustment of the position of initial position
In the event that the initial position changes when then machine
is in operation, it's feasible to relocate the initial position by
manual adjustment.
(3) Manual adjustment of the position of initial position of mold clamping
Before adjusting, please check the following set value:
(i) Set values of speed and pressure of initial position (in screen (61) ofinitialization), Speed=50%, Press=99%
(ii) Resetting time of initial position, TIM20=4 sec (iii) Check the preset position DD=1P Notice: (i) Make sure there is not product in the mold, if there is, take
the product out.
(ii) The mold is equipped with core-pulling and -rotary devices.
So please check the position stroke to make sure that the
mentioned devices are mounted in the safe and correct
position so as to avoid any damage.
Method: Press key and the hinge will move, after the preset 4 seconds runs
out as how the TIM20 is set, the hinge will fully straighten, then the
actual position of mold clamping will automatically change to the
1p, the preset position of mold clamping, thus the manual setting of
initial position of mold clamping is done.
If the hinge does not fully straighten after the TIM20 runs out, please
repeat the above procedures.
(4) Manual adjustment of the position of initial position of injection
Notice:Make sure the temperature of plasticizing barrel does reach the set
value.

(6) Setting the position of initial position of mold clampingThe position of initial position of mold clamping refers where resetting
sensor is reset to. In the process of mold opening, when the resetting sensor
is triggered, the position of start point of mold clamping is automatically
reset.
(i) By adjusting the thickness of mold, the molds respectively on the
primary plate and secondary plate will not conflict after the hinge
fully straightens. If there is no mold on the plate, skip this procedure.
(ii) In the screen (61) of setting for initialization, input a large
value(i.e.2000p) in the HHP, the position of initial position of mold
clamping.
(iii)Change the value into 0p in the option of the position of high-pressure mold clamping in the screen (06) of mold clamping.
(iv) In manual state, clamp and open mold for 3 times. When clamping it,
make sure the hinge fully straightens, and when opening it, make sure
the resetting sensor is triggered.
(v) After clamping mold for 3 times and when the hinge fully straightens,
record the actual position of mold clamping (i.e. 1250p)
(vi) New position of initial position of mold clamping(where the resetting
sensor is triggered) HH=2000p-1250p=750p
(vii)Input new value 750p in the GG option.
(viii)Again, open and clamp mold for 3 times, if every time the actualending position of mold clamping is a one-digit number, then the
setting is done, otherwise repeat the procedure (v)-(viii).
(ix) Input 100p in the option of position of high-pressure mold clamping in
the screen (06) of mold clamping.
(7)Setting the position of initial position of injectionThe position of initial position of injection refers to where the resetting
sensor of injection is. In the process of plasticizing, when the resetting
sensor is triggered, the starting port of injection position will be
automatically reset.
Notice: Make sure the temperature of the plasticizing barrel does reach the
set value.

of ejection is. After ejection, the resetting sensor is triggered to reset the
initial position.
Notice: Make sure the position of mold opening does reach the ending
position.
(i)In the screen (61) of setting for original position, input a large value(i.e. 15mm) in the IIp option of the position of initial position of
ejection.
(ii)In manual state, move ejector back and forth for 3 times respectively,
make sure that the ejector retracts to full extent and the resetting sensor
of ejection is triggered.
(iii)After 3 times of moving back and forth and retraction terminates,record the actual position(i.e. 8.5mm) of the ejector.
(iv)The new position of initial position of ejection (where the resettingsensor is triggered )II=15mm-8.5mm=6.5mm.
(iv)Input new value 6.5mm in the II option of the position of initialposition of injection.

For the setting for temperature of 6th stage, all the procedures are

For the temperature setting for stage 5th and 6th, it’s only
conditionally available, depending on the model of the machine or
the request from the customers. If the machine is equipped with the
oil temperature controller, the standard set value to control the oil
℃ ℃temperature is usually 35 -40 , when TC7 is output, it’s by means
of a relay to directly control the switch of spill-way gate to make the
oil temperature acceptable. Normally the set value of positive
deviation from high temperature of 6th ℃ stage is 15 while that of the
℃negative deviation from the lower one is 30 , namely, if the set
℃ ℃value of standard oil temperature is 35 , the tolerance is from 5 -
℃50 , out of which range the alarm will go off.
(2) Setting for temperature holding stage of the injection nozzle The temperature holding stage, whose set value ranges from
00%~99%, controls constant temperature according to the injection
nozzle of the material pipe. If 99% is set, it offers all-time heating
of 10~30 sec to set internal constant temperature. Take 20 sec for
instance, it means the constant temperature control period is based
on the cycle of 20 seconds.
i.e.: 60% is set for the temperature holding stage for the nozzle
while 20 seconds for the time of constant temperature.
Namely 20x605=12 sec The electrothermal heating of the
temperature holding stage of the injection nozzle is on

3.4.2 Setting for temperature deviation (alarm)

Temperature holding by definition is to hold the temperatures of each
stage at the set percentage.

3.4.4 Fully automatic, semi-automatic, manual options

not select before the selection. If a LED on any of these three keys are
blinking, signifying the data of the computer is clamped and could not be
modified. For employment of data clamping, please turn to the appointed
person responsible for data modification.
3.4.5 Setting for data on position, speed and pressure

3.4.7 Adjustment of proportional numerical control
The advanced proportional adjustment approach is employed to
control the pressure and speed of the mechanical motion, the percentage
system greatly facilitates the recording and future readjustment.
The computer outputs corresponding current according todifferent motion to control the proportional pressure valve and flow valve
in the oil way so as to numerically control the speed and control.
If the pressure is within the range from 20Kg/cm2 to 145-
175Kg/cm2, , then the range of set value for the working current
corresponding to the proportional pressure value is from 200mA to
800mA
The range of set value for the working current of the proportional
flow valve (speed valve ) is from 200mA to 680mA.
(1) Dead loop controlTo employ the program of dead loop control, it's required to mount
sensor to pick up system pressure and proximity switch to detect
rotate speed of screw. In this mode, the computer will automatically
make adjustment and record linearization parameter.
