REGISTRATION DETAILS:There is no registration fee for the eligible forty teaching staff of the AICTE approved institutes.For confirmation participants should send the filled registration form to nitinchauhan@jssaten.ac.in., and for further enquiry, please contact Mr. Nitin Chauhan (9582482888).Accommodation will be provided at free of cost in college hostels on request.TA to outstation participants as per AICTE norms.A test will be conducted in the last session and the certificate will be issued to only those participants who attend the programme and qualify the test. The certificate shall be useful in AICTE approved colleges for promotion through career advancement scheme.

ABOUT THE COLLEGEJSS Academy of Technical Education Noida (JSSATEN) is one of the leading Technical Institutions in the National Capital Region in the State of Uttar Pradesh. Established in the year 1998 by JSS Mahavidyapeetha, NOIDA, the Institution has set benchmarks and grown into an Institution of Excellence in Technical Education. Mechanical Engineering Department, established in 1998, is one of the oldest and biggest departments of the institute with student strength of about 800 and faculty strength of 37. The Department currently runs Under Graduate program B. Tech. Mechanical Engineering and Post Graduate Program in Production Engineering. Well balanced academics and industrial experience faculty members and well equipped laboratory, expose students to correlate theoretical concept in the practical work. B.Tech programme of Mechanical Engineering is practicing outcome based education and accredited by NBA from 1st July 2015 to 30th June 2021. The faculty members and students are actively involved in state of the art research work, which reflects good number of publications in International/ National Journals and Conferences. The department is always motivating students to participate in various technical activities held outside the institute to develop their dynamic personality and leadership quality. This Faculty Develpoment Programme aims to bring young academicians and experts on a common platform to encourage and update the faculty members of Mechanical Engineering Department of various colleges of Uttar Pradesh On the latest trends in Design concept and applications of IT tools used in different industries.Make them aware about modern teaching tools and methodologies.Acquire knowledge about current technological developments in mechanical fields.Promote research capabilities among teaching fraternity.

EXPECTED OUTCOMEFaculty Development Programme (FDP) helps in equipping teachers with skills and knowledge that are essential for inculcating delivery ofdesign contents through application softwares to conceptualize, guide and monitor their progress towards better Mechanical Engineering practices.This Program

Provides opportunities for teachers to share and widen knowledge with their peers.Provide a forum to keep themselves abreast of the emerging trends in industry design practices.Create the culture of learning and self- improvement among the teachers.

Eminent Professors and senior faculty members from IITs, NITs, Reputed University, as well as experts from highly admired industries and research centers will be engaging sessions during FDP and also practial hands on decipher to falconry.
