Statistics

almost 70% of people with aids in the entire world are located in Africa

The country with the largest percentage of aids is Swaziland with 26% of its people living with AIDs

Is it really a problem?

There is some debate as to whether or not these statistics are actually true

Many believe that most of the accounts of aids are actually false diagnoses

they point to the fact that many of the symptoms that lead to being diagnosed with AIDs, chronic diarrhea, prolonged fever, 10 percent body weight loss in two months and a persistent cough, are actually common symptoms of other diseases in Africa.

They also point out that female circumcision, one of the biggest facilitators of AIDs, is widespread in southern Africa, but this is where it is most common
