AIR MEDICAL SERVICE AREA IN WASHINGTON

All aircraft carry two units each of liquid plasma and packed red blood cells (PRBC).

Helicopter service: High-performance air medical helicopters are based in Bellingham, Bremerton, Arlington, Olympia and Wenatchee.

These twin-engine helicopters are IFR, NVG and GPS equipped, fly at 150 MPH, have a range of 150 miles, and are equipped to care for neonatal, pediatric and adult patients of all types.

Fixed wing service: Airlift Northwest’s fixed wing fleet is strategically based in Seattle and Yakima. Each aircraft is equipped to care for neonatal, pediatric and adult patients of all types.

For short distance flights, or to smaller airports, the Pilatus PC-12 is our aircraft of choice. It flies at 292 MPH and has a range of 800 miles.

For long-distance flights, the Learjet 31A is used. The Learjet flies at 500 MPH and has a range of 1,380 miles.
