It would also rely on self-reporting from the patient, which could be recorded in the mobile app. In essence, Artefact explains, this creates a uni- fied, patient-owned health record. The system also relies on an autonomous clinic, which is equipped with a built-in pressure sen- sitive scale to measure body mass index (BMI*), balance and posture. It also has a seat to con- duct acoustic analysis of respiration* and cardiac rhythm*. Called “SeaSeekers,” the device uploads footage to the diver’s Snapchat Memories, allowing them to instantly share their deep-sea experi-ence with those on land.

“The SeaSeeker will enable all adventure-seekers to get a front-row seat to the thrill-ing adventures found under-water in a way that has never been possible before,” said Jim Berra, chief marketing offi cer for Royal Caribbean International.

The unit consists of a pair
