Createx Airbrush Colors are the number one, most widely used and trusted professional airbrush paint in the world. Made with light-fast pigments, du-rable resins and quality ingredients, Createx works on fabric, wood, leather, canvass, plastics, aluminum, metals, ceramic, clay, poster board, brick, plaster, latex, glass and more. Colors are water-based, non-toxic and meet ASTM D-4236 standards. Colors include Opaque, Transparent, Fluorescent, Pearlized and Iridescent Colors.

Createx Airbrush Colors are designed for permanent results with a soft-hand feel on fabrics. Colors cure with the assistance of heat after drying. The use of heat to cure colors is one of the main diff erences between Createx Airbrush Colors and Wicked & Auto Air Colors which cure to a much stronger fi lm with air drying alone (referred to as self-cross linking). Createx are made with exterior-grade (automotive) pigments allowing them to withstand prolonged exposure to direct, outdoor light without fading. For maximum permanence, a top-coat should be applied over the paint after curing.

4040 Bleed Checker is a hybridized, urethane-acrylic clear used as an inter-coat intended for ap-plication over candy2o to prevent the candy2o’s dyes from bleeding into top-coated colors.Apply 4040 Bleed Checker over candy2o as an inter-coat. Aluminum Bases Actual aluminum with unique properties separate from other Auto-Air Colors. They’re highly refl ec-tive, making them an ideal base for candy colors. They also work excellent as a stand alone silver fi nish; 4102 Aluminum Base Medium is an incred-ibly brilliant, show quality fi nish.

4104 Quicksilver ChromeA highly refl ective, aircraft-grade aluminum.Do not reduce. Spray directly from the bottle around 20 psi inlet. Quicksilver Chrome has excellent adhesion direct to any surface and can be applied direct to glossy, non-sanded surfaces such as powder-coat, urethane fi nishes, plastics, and any substrate.Apply over a gloss black surface, such as 4258 Auto Air Gloss Black in very, very light coats

4105 Gold PlatingA aircraft-grade aluminum with a golden yellow coating. It creates a highly refl ective metallic gold without a pearlized or textured fi nish.Do not reduce. Spray directly from the bottle around 25 psi inlet. 4105 Gold Plating has excel-lent adhesion direct to any surface and can be applied direct to glossy, non-sanded surfaces such as powder-coat, urethane fi nishes, plastics, and any substrate. Apply over a gloss white base for a vivid, billet gold.Apply in very, very light coats over a gloss black base for a deep, orange-shade gold.

Transparent and Semi-Opaque colors Are standard airbrush graphics colors. For fi ne detail applications, Transparent Colors, after reducing(4011) in generous amount work with any airbrush size including 0.18mm tips operated at low psi settings. Semi-Opaque Colors contain an addition of a refi ned clay for improved coverage and best work with larger tip-sized airbrushes and spray-guns.

Fluorescent colors Are vivid transparent neon colors that are lim-ited lightfast when exposed to direct sunlight.

Pearlescent Metallic and Iridescent colors are pearl base coats. For graphics and base coat application, they’re best applied as a mid-coat over a color-keyed AutoBorne Sealer base.

Flair Color-Shift Best applied over 6002 AutoBorne Sealer Black or a dark base.Soft fl owing transition from one color into an-other. Example: Flair Tint Violet travels from lilac to silver to blue then into green.

Hi-Lite Interference Accent pearl-fl akes for subtle pearl eff ects in direct light. Hi-Lites are best applied in sparing amounts as a light pearl-coat applied over a base or mid-coat. Hi – Lites eff ects look similar to the pearlescent eff ect of fi sh scale (they’re perfect for custom fi sh lures).

Cosmic Sparkle & Hot Rod Sparkle Pearl fl akes in a transparent base. Apply as a pearl mid-coat over a base color or directly mix with other Auto-Air Colors to create unique custom color creations. Hot Rod Sparkle are large pearl-fl akes, Cosmic Sparkle are smaller pearl-fl akes which are the same found in many O.E.M. automotive colors.

Sparklescent Colors Are pearl-popping, candy-looking very transpar-ent colors perfect for a stunning fi nish. Sparkles-cent Colors are made to get noticed. They’re an excellent graphic and mid-coat pearl fi nish color.

Candy2o TRUE CANDY PERFORMANCE100% transparent, water-based color made with aniline dyes.Concentrated: add 4030 Balancing Clear to candy2o then thin with 4011..Stop dyes from leaching (bleeding) into top-coated colors by applying 4040 Bleed Checker over candy2o.

Auto Borne Sealer ColoreducerrsFor application to hard surfaces and automotive refi nishing. Cures to a hard coating which shaves well when dry-sanded and over-which colors fl ow-out for a level, smooth fi nish.Dilute 5 – 10% 4011 Reducer Best applied with Spray gun: 1.4 – 1.3mm, 22 – 25 psi Airbrush: large volume & tip-sized, +0.5mm, 27 - 30+ psiApply direct to most any substrate including aluminum, wood, fi berglass and plastic.

The unique feature of the Custom Micron Airbrush is found in the hand matched Head System. All of the parts in the head are assembled, tested and adjusted until the spray characteristics are as perfect as an airbrush can be. Sparmax CompressorsThe TC 2000Studio Quiet, auto shut off , 1/6 h.p. Compressor that will provide appx. 35 psi working pressure at the tip of a VL#3 (.55 mm) airbrush or a Eclipse BCS (.50mm) airbrush. You will get a higher working pressure with a smaller nozzle and accordingly, less pressure with a nozzle larger than .5mm. The compressor comes with an airbrush holder, a regulator, moisture trap and gauge and a hose to attach the moisture trap to the compressor. Gerald Mendez Art Studio Color Box SetGerald Mendez has been airbrushing since 1986. After his graphic

design education in Mexico City, he undertook the challenge to

master as many techniques as possible to improve the quality of his

work; including airbrush and digital illustration, along with airbrush

automotive techniques. His drive to create what he terms as “Unreal

Concepts” has helped him develop his own personal style.

Gerald operates his airbrush studio in Chino, California and is cur-
