The importance of ACI EUROPE Communiqué Airport Business
By Olivier Jankovec, Director General, ACI EUROPE
Airports have evolved and developed over the past 20 years, to become vastly different, more competitive,
efficient and quality-driven entities. We are in a position to track progress, because as the voice of Europe’s airports, ACI EUROPE represents over 460 airports in 45 European countries, accounting for over 90% of commercial air traffic in Europe. Our membership encompasses airport operators of all sizes, as well as national airport associations, World Business Partners and educational establishments.
In our unique role, we strive to ensure effective communication and negotiation with legislative, commercial, technical, environmental, passenger and other interests. ACI EUROPE Communiqué Airport Business – our official quarterly publication – is a vital communication tool for the industry, promoting a broader understanding of the challenges facing airports and civil aviation in Europe. It allows us to interact effectively with key decision-makers, partner organisations and other industry stakeholders.
As the exclusive voice of Europe’s airports, ACI EUROPE is engaged in important work concerning the future of air transport, ranging from airport capacity to the environment, airport security to airport economics, from the Single European Sky to air traffic rights liberalisation and much more. ACI EUROPE Communiqué Airport Business
allows us to communicate our advocacy efforts and what the latest key strategic issues really mean for airports.
ACI EUROPE Communiqué Airport Business is also an unrivalled source of information on the latest news from airports with major development and expansion plans. We showcase the latest examples of best practice, the emerging strategies for overcoming the challenges associated with significant infrastructure projects and the progressive efforts airports are making to ensure a world-class passenger experience.
The quarterly issues of ACI EUROPE Communiqué Airport Business are augmented by our website – www.airport-business.com – and bi-weekly e-newsletter, ensuring it remains the key reference source for airport developments as they happen.
Our readership and coverage is impressive. With a core database of over 23,000 named individuals and additional distribution at key industry events, ACI EUROPE Communiqué Airport Business enables us to reach all of the people who really matter in this industry.
Put simply, ACI EUROPE Communiqué Airport Business is an unrivalled source of news on industry developments, an effective way to reach the European airport community and an essential component of our communication and advocacy efforts. I look forward to seeing your brand in our magazine, in the year ahead.
