Air+ PIV gently operates in the background, pushing out stale humid air and

replacing it with fresh filtered air from outside. Located in the loft, Air+ PIV draws

fresh air into the loft cavity where it is filtered and warmed before being gently

added into the habitable areas of the house. Positive Input Ventilation (PIV) is

proven to reduce both condensation and mould as well as dangerous levels of

radon in specific areas of the UK.

Continuous in operation and circulating air around the house from a central

diffuser, PIV is the perfect solution for retro fitting in older properties. In most

properties, the loft gains natural warmth from heat rising up from the property and

from solar heat transferring through the roof tiles. Air+ PIV aids in reducing fuel

bills by recycling heat that would normally be lost through the roof, instead adding

it back to the property through the filtered air.

Once installed, Air+ PIV will push contaminated air out of the property through

trickle vents installed in windows and also natural leakage points such as under

doors and key holes. In its place, clean filtered air will dry out the fabric of the

building, reducing the condensation that causes damaging mould.

When installed into the ceiling Air+ PIV works as a whole house solution. When

required, additional fans can be used in wet rooms specifically en-suites and utility

rooms that are not off the central hallway. These fans help create negative

pressure, which aids drawing the fresh filtered air into all sections of the home.

Air+ PIV is supplied with an energy efficient preheater to temper incoming air. Designed to stop heat loss in the duct, Air+ PIV increases input air temperature by up to four degrees vs other traditional PIVs available. Easy fix anti-vibration base and hanging kit supplied as standard.

Integral dynamic controls allow for bespoke installation set up as well as data recall showing running conditions and unit performance.

High grade G4 or F7 filters offer industry leading levels of filtration. Filter efficiency is also displayed via the front display.

The new low profile diffuser with sound cancelling technology can be cleaned easily and directs air away from fire alarms and walls. Models are available for condensation & mould or radon control.

InstallationFitted in the roof void and ducted via a circular air diffuser mounted in the ceiling above a stairwell. All units are fitted with a preheat facility and the heater is activated automatically when the incoming air drops below the pre-selected set point. This can be manually changed to between 5 to 20°c to suit the residents' requirements.
