1. Preface
1.1 Purpose
1.1.1 This document explains how to use PAC-A (Portable Antenna Controller - AISG) for ALD control
and monitor.
1.1.2 This controller is hand-held and convenient to control the TTLNA and RET at the field.
1.1.3 This controller also maximizes the capability to control an antenna in the field.
1.2 General
1.2.1 This controller is fully compatible with AISG V2.0 and AISG V2.1(RAS).
1.2.2 This controller can control the RET, RAS and monitor the TTLNA.
1.2.3 This controller uses a graphic LCD, and 4x4 Key Function.

3.2 Explanation
RS-232 Port
This is for communication between PAC-A and a PC (RS-232 communications standard) for PAC-A
firmware upgrade. If you computer is not equipped with RS-232 serial port, you may need an USB
to serial adaptor to connect your computer to PAC-A unit. The baud rate is 9600bps for the RS-
232C interface.
RS-485 Port
This is AISG communication port.

repeatable processing error of each command conducted. To clear Return code and display Alarm code only,
press “ENT” Key at the “[RENEW-ENT]”. After this, if you send the command to read ALD Alarm code, alarm
code only is displayed. The meaning of “[RENEW-ENT]”, All of Return code occurred are cleared by “Enter
