The change to the Oppono brand represents much more than a name change. It’s our commitment to build on our established relationships with you
– the brokers and agents who have continued to contribute significantly to our success. Oppono is focused on providing you with more tools to fund more of your mortgage deals
Our philosophy always has been and will continue to be a common-sense approach to lending, designed to meet your needs with first and second mortgages. We recognize your need for alternative mortgage products is not just for single-family homes. We heard you loud and clear.
We have expanded our offering to include high-rise condominiums in the downtown Toronto market and provide financing up to 85%* on residential homes. However, we’re not done yet. Oppono will continue to listen to you, our brokers, and introduce new mortgage products that follow our common-sense approach to lending.
Oppono’s business is broker-focused and customer service oriented. We have developed a technology-driven approval structure featuring fast turnarounds, a simplified underwriting process, extended working hours and a commitment to funding your mortgage applications.

OPPONO IS A NON-TRADITIONAL MORTGAGE LENDER. WE UNDERSTAND IT CAN BE FRUSTRATING DEALING WITH TRADITIONAL LENDERS AND INSTITUTIONS.
Our philosophy always has been and will continue to be a common-sense approach to lending, designed to meet your needs with first and second mortgages along with term loans. We recognize your need for alternative lending products, we heard you loud and clear!
Our common-sense approach to lending means our decisions are not based on a set of non-negotiable criteria. We look at the borrowers’ unique situation and measure their ability to meet their obligations, accompanied by an appropriate loan-to-value ratio.
With this approach, we are able to help your clients secure the mortgages that they want, when they want. If the investment makes sense,

LIKE YOU, WE WANT FAST CLOSINGS. ONCE THE COMMITMENT IS RETURNED WITH THE NECESSARY SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS, WE WILL WORK WITHOUT DELAY TO GET YOUR DEAL CLOSED.
HERE’S HOW WE DO IT:• Our turn-around time is 3 hours; we commit to send you an
approval, decline, or contact from an underwriter regarding your mortgage application request.
• We have a dedicated team who work extended hours to service your requests, as we understand business is not 9-5, Monday to Friday. We will do our best to respond to your phone messages within 3 hours of receipt.
• Our underwriters have individual extension numbers to help speed up transactions and save valuable time.
• We will follow-up aggressively with you and your client to get the commitment signed and returned to us.
• We have dedicated Business Development Managers ready and willing to help on all your files.
