The Al Hathboor Group’s story of commemoration may be told from the inception of the idea to its realization through the ardent insight and visionary outlook of its founder – Late Saif Obaid Al Hathboor. Commencing with the exclusive Textile business in 1954, he explored newer avenues and tapped vistas of opportunity paving way for the Group’s success.

Progressing in tandem with the nation, Al Hathboor’s first business expansion was into the Air conditioning and Refrigeration business. The onset of the ‘70s witnessed the addition of a Motor Spare Parts unit followed in quick succession by the launch of one of the earliest Supermarkets in the UAE.

acumen complimented by his clever choice of products led to rapid company expansion. The vehemence to meet the rising Industrial and Commercial requirements in the UAE and the Gulf added substantially to the Group’s escalation.

Subsequently, the swift-expanding business necessitated the activities of the diverse divisions under the umbrella brand to be streamlined. The evident outcome was the formation of The Al Hathboor Group in the year 1982. Ever since, the group has grown from strength to strength under the leadership of the current Chairman, Mr. Abdulla Saif Al Hathboor, and stands tall as one of the foremost business houses in the Gulf.
