Eat at Panda Express for SfC Students!TODAY (11 am–2 pm) Panda Express (1540 24th Ave NW) will donate 20% of sales to the Sooners for Christ. You must present a flyer for the 20% to be donated. Flyers are in TODAY’s bulletin. All money raised will go toward the SfC Spring break mission trip. The students will be working with the community in El Paso, TX.
Alameda Family GroupWe have a new Alameda Family Facebook group! As a church family, we want to care for each other and get
Bible Class: 9:45–10:30 amPower Hour: A time of Worship for children 3-years-old through Kindergarten. Children are dismissed before the sermon each week and picked up after Worship.Supervised nursery and toddler programs are available during bible class & both worship services.
One Big StoryWe want to equip our kids with Bible knowledge that will help ignite a lifetime of following Jesus. This school year, the Kids Ministry is going through the Bible (beginning to end) on Sunday mornings during Bible class. They are following the “One Big Story” of God’s love for us.
Lenten ServicesEach year, the Norman Minister Fe l lowsh ip host s a week ly Lenten service & luncheon at different churches in Norman. These week ly ser v ices a re on Wednesdays (12-1 pm). This Wednesday, March 11th the service is at First Baptist Church (211 W. Comanche). The service is followed by a $5 lunch beginning at 12:35 pm. Alameda is hosting the service/lunch on Wednesday, April 8th.
The Biggest StoryTODAY we have a specia l col lection for an upcoming church-wide service project. We are going to donate the children’s book, The Biggest Story, to 200 fami l ies in the community. We will begin by giving these books out to families from the community that attend our Easter egg hunt on April 5th.
WOW on the RoadJoin us on Sunday, March 29th (5– 6 pm) for WOW (Wonder of Worship) on the Road. The worship leader and praise team from Memorial Road Church of Christ will be here to lead us in singing praises to God.

Our annual Ray Evans Seminar is April 3rd–5th with guest speaker, Dr. John Mark Hicks.

EVANGELIZE EDIFY OTHERS THROUGH SERVICE
Easter Candy & Eggs Needed!On Sunday, April 5th we will have a community Easter egg hunt at Kiwanis Park (in the neighborhood across the street). If you would like to donate to this event, please bring individually-wrapped candy & plastic eggs and put them in the baskets around the building. We also need volunteers to help stuff eggs. Pick up a bucket & supplies from Anna Spray if you would like to do that as a family.
Alameda Reading Tutors Needed!Alameda Tutoring is in need of volunteers who want to minister to children and families through a love of learning and reading. We meet Wednesdays (6-7 pm). A background check is required of all volunteers. For more information, contact Crystal Neill (501-388-0335 or [email protected]).
Prison MinistryWe need volunteers to lead a men’s Bible study at the prison in Lexington on Monday evenings (6–7 pm). For more information or to sign up, contact the church office (321-0788).
Homebound CommunionWe need volunteers to take communion to homebound members on Sunday afternoons. Sign up with Joley Green in the church office. (321-0788, [email protected]).
