solid relationships• Quantity network: great for recruiters who need many
candidates or individuals who want to leverage the searching power of LI
• LI network = # connections through 3rd degree– Efficiency of your connections….
• You can do Both! Even if you build a wide LI network, you can still only refer people you know and trust.

3. Build a Complete Linked In Profile!– All firms, schools, associations, clubs, groups– Makes it easier to find you --- Keywords!

Other Tips• Be genuine – create some templates so you are
not run of the mill• Do some research on potential common interests
– is there a win/win?• Keep messages short -- Be specific• Can use LI with other tools, such as Plaxo,
Google, Ecademy, Classmates, and Zoominfo
