Alan Hobbins

Colin Yip

“Mr. Hobbins had his audience spell-bound as he showed his grasp of the overall structure and line of movement…”

The Star, Jamaica

“Mr. Hobbins brings a welcome rhythmic vitality to this repertoire. His command of the expressive rubato is never willful and always serves a coherent structural purpose…a grand Huzzah to Hobbins for this exceptional album”

The Wholenote, Toronto

Celebrated Jamaican-Canadian pianist Alan Hobbins returns to the Flato Markham Theatre to give a benefit concert for the Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation. Established in 1989, the Foundation has raised funds to support healthcare for over 330,000 residents from the Markham and Witchurch-Stouffville communities.
