Day 1: Wednesday, June 21 • The adventure begins with a motorcoach ride to

Chicago’s O’Hare airport! • Overnight stay in Fairbanks, AK for two (2) nights.

Day 2: Thursday, June 22 (B, L, D)• Cruise on the Riverboat “Discovery” sternwheeler. • Take a tour of the Gold Dredge 8 and try your luck at

panning for gold. • Enjoy a wonderful welcome dinner!

Day 3: Friday, June 23 (B) • Travel by glass-domed train car to Denali.• Enjoy the breathtaking views at the Grande Denali Lodge.• The rest of the day is free to explore on your own. • Overnight stay in Denali for two (2) nights.

Day 4: Saturday, June 24 (B)• Rise early to take the Tundra Wilderness Tour deep into

Denali. Watch for moose, bear, wolves and dall sheep.

Day 5: Sunday, June 25 (B)• Travel by motorcoach to Anchorage.• Enjoy a quick lunch (on your own) before departing

for Seward. • Overnight stay in Seward, AK.

Day 6: Monday, June 26 (B, L)• Board a boat for the Kenai Fjords Wilderness cruise.

Expect to see plenty of humpback whales, sea otter, orcas and unusual birds.

• Transfer to the NCL “Sun” to begin your Alaska cruise adventure.

• Overnight aboard ship next seven (7) nights.

Day 7-12: June 27- July 2 (B, L, D)• Scenic cruising: -- Hubbard Glacier. -- Icy Strait Point. -- Juneau & Sawyer Glacier. Optional excursions: salmon

fishing, pan for gold, fly to see the Juneau Ice Field or walk to the Mendenhall Glacier.

-- Skagway. Visit the “Gateway to the Klondike”. Optional excursion: White Pass and Yukon Railroad

train trip. -- Ketchikan. Immerse yourself in Tlingit Indian culture. Optional excursion: Kayak the colorful waterfront. -- Inside Passage.

Day 13: Monday, July 3 (B) • Dock in Vancouver and travel to Seattle.• Embark on your return flight to Chicago O’Hare.

Day 14: Tuesday, July 4• We journey to our Iowa departure cities with lots of new

photos and great memories. Welcome home.
