Morris Adjmi is founder and principal of Morris Adjmi

Architects and began his career working with renowned

Italian architect Aldo Rossi. After partnering with Rossi

to open Studio di Architettura in New York City, they

collaborated on numerous international projects including

the Hotel Il Palazzo, which received an AIA Honor Award.

Adjmi established his own firm in 1993 and has since

designed a variety of works from commercial, residential

and mixed-use buildings to hotels and private waterfront

residences.

Merrill, Pastor & Colgan Architects was founded in 1990 by

Scott Merrill, and their work spans a wide range of scales and

a variety of building programs and varied sites. After serving

for two years as the town architect of Seaside, Florida, Scott

Merrill opened the practice in Vero Beach, Florida in order to

work on the new beachside community of Windsor. The firm

has designed a variety of buildings from town halls and federal

courthouses to several apartment buildings, cottages and

dozens of beachside custom homes. Merrill, Pastor & Colgan

Architects has won three national AIA design awards, and its
