• Building a strategy (first in North America)– Create economic growth that is sustainable

economically and environmentally

– Requires large producers to reduce CO2

– or pay into a fund to help technologies to further reduce CO2

• Carbon Capture Storage (CCS)– $2 Billion to kick start to reduce GHG through

CCS projects
