All types of alcohol have a certain percentage of alcohol. - Cruisers 5% - Full strength beer 4.9% - Stubby 4.9% - Spirit nip 40% - Port 18% - Bottle of wine 12% Standard drinks are different because every standard drink contains a different amount of alcohol. A standard drink is any drink that contains approximately 10 grams of alcohol. For men it is not recommended to have more than 6 standard drinks a day, and for woman it is not recommended to have more than four standard drinks on any day.
