Dr Jack WarhaftAddiction Medicine physician in private practice in Kew Formerly medical director of the Victorian Doctors Health Program (2001-2007) and specialist physician in charge of medical program development at Malvern Private Hospital (2009-2017) Evaluation of people with substance use disorders and comprehensive range of treatment options from harm reduction to abstinence based treatment.
Dr Michael Kozminsky has been a general practitioner for over 35 years combining a particular interest in drug and alcohol dependency with the associated psychiatric and psychological conditions. Dr Kozminsky was among the first doctors in Victoria to prescribe Methadone Maintenance and was a contributor to the first guidelines on Methadone Maintenance in 1982.
In the past, Dr Kozminsky has run hospital in-patient programs for alcohol and drugs. Dr Kozminsky was one of the first doctors licensed to import naltrexone and prior to its general release in 1996, Dr Kozminsky helped draft the first guidelines on the use of Naltrexone in Australia.
