For Rodeo art, you have to make artwork that fits the test.
If you finish the task, you might get chosen by your art
teacher and it will be entered for the contest.

What will you do for Spring Break?
I asked some of our very own Tigers here at the school, what
are your plans for Spring break? Maybe you can get some ide-
as from them. Here are some places and ideas: Relax, sleep
in, watch basketball, catch up on reading, go to New Orleans,
visit family, go on a trip, or get a tan.

Martin Luther King Jr. was born on January 15, 1929, in
Atlanta, Georgia. MLK day is observed on the third Monday of January each year, which is
around his birthday. President Ronald Reagan signed the holiday into law in 1983, and it
was first observed three years later. MLK is known for many memorable events. In 1957,
he led the Montgomery bus boycott and, became the first President of the Southern
Christian Leadership Conference. On October 14, 1964, King won the Nobel Peace Prize
and he also helped organize the 1963 March on Washington, which is the place where he
delivered his world famous, “I have a Dream speech.” King was assassinated in Memphis,
Tennessee in 1968 at the age of 39. Dr. King was named American Hero for the end of
racial segregation.
Why do we celebrate MLK?

“Ok, I have to think about this,” said Emma. “So, I get you like the jungle, but where do you live?” said Benny. Emma stood and stared at Benny. “Ummmm…..I ran away.” “Wow, I could NEVER do that , but where do you live?” Emma wasn’t going to tell , but she did. “PK, I live a long way away and cant find my way back, can you help….?”
Study Hints
It is essential to manage your time; this means to sets goals like
read thirty minutes, do multiplication for twenty, and research sci-
ence for one hour.
Motivation is key; you could do something every five minutes and
you get a small treat. This will make time go by faster.
Chewing gum helps you focus and it improves your memory. Having
a drink will keep you from getting up to get one. Stay focused as
much as you can and take little breaks.
