SISTEMA VIVAVOCECON RICONOSCIMENTOVOCALE E TECNOLOGIA Bluetooth

GENERALIT

La tecnologia Bluetooth consente il dia-logo senza collegamenti elettrici (wireless)tra il vostro telefono cellulare e limpiantovivavoce presente sulla vettura.

La comunicazione basata sulla trasmis-sione di onde radio a corto raggio, che scam-bia dati e voce ad una velocit di circa 1 Mb(Megabyte) al secondo, entro un raggio diazione di circa 10 metri.

La frequenza radio utilizzata dalla tecnolo-gia Bluetooth non soggetta ad alcunarestrizione ed libera e gratuita.

Il sistema vivavoce a riconoscimento vo-cale permette di telefonare in piena sicu-rezza, libert e comfort in ogni situazionedi guida, ricevendo ed inoltrando chiamatesenza staccare le mani dal volante, cos co-me prescrive la legge.

Il sistema installato sulla vettura disponedelle seguenti funzionalit:

esclusione dellaudio dellautoradio du-rante le telefonate

gestione della conversazione in vivavoce

diffusione della conversazione attraver-so gli altoparlanti della vettura, con qualitsonora ottimale

possibilit di collegare fino a tre telefo-ni cellulari con attivazione di un cellulare pervolta (limpostazione della priorit di colle-gamento descritta successivamente)

riconoscimento vocale (in funzione deltipo di telefono cellulare)

memorizzazione automatica della ru-brica telefonica (funzione disponibile solocon i telefoni cellulari Ericsson/SonyErics-son)

gestione di pi numeri telefonici per ognisingolo contatto (ad es. casa, lavoro, cellula-re in funzione del tipo di telefono cellulare)

COMPONENTI DEL SISTEMA

I componenti principali del sistema sono:

la centralina elettronica

il microfono

la pulsantiera

La centralina elettronica, alloggiata nellaplancia, integra il trasmettitore con tecno-logia Bluetooth, il microprocessore per iltrattamento dei segnali ed il software di ge-stione.

Il microfono integrato nella plafoniera an-teriore un componente di alta qualit, pro-gettato per garantire la comunicazione ot-timale in tutte le condizioni.

La pulsantiera (fig. 1) si trova sul mobi-letto centrale e dispone di due tasti, uno ver-de (A) ed uno rosso (B), che permettonodi attivare tutte le funzioni del sistema.

Premere il tasto verde (A) per: attivare il riconoscimento vocale

accettare la chiamata o la doppia chia-mata

ricomporre l'ultimo numero chiamato

attivare la modalit riservato.

Premere il tasto rosso (B) per: terminare una chiamata

rifiutare una chiamata.

Con la pressione contemporanea deitasti verde (A) e rosso (B) per alme-no 2 secondi si effettua la cancella-zione della memoria del sistema.

AVVERTENZA La cancellazione dellamemoria comporta la disconnessione di tut-ti i telefoni memorizzati, leliminazione ditutti i numeri presenti nella memoria del si-stema vivavoce e richiede successivamen-te una nuova procedura di connessione perpoter riutilizzare il sistema.

ATTIVAZIONE DEL SISTEMA Per attivare il sistema dopo la prima con-

nessione sufficiente ruotare la chiave di av-viamento in posizione MAR. Quando il si-stema attivo si illuminano i due led sui ta-sti della pulsantiera. Per connettere il vostrotelefono cellulare con il sistema dopo la pri-ma connessione necessario entrare nellavettura con il telefono cellulare acceso e fun-zione Bluetooth attivata.

PRIMA CONNESSIONE DEL TELEFONO CELLULARE AL SISTEMA

Per effettuare la prima connessione tra il te-lefono cellulare e il sistema vivavoce ne-cessario attivare la funzione Bluetooth sultelefono, seguendo le relative istruzioni (con-sultare il manuale del proprio telefono). Quan-do la funzione attiva, sul display del telefonocompare la relativa icona.

Quando ci si connette per la prima voltaal sistema, si sentir listruzione Accop-piare lapparecchio (il messaggio verrsempre fornito in italiano, lingua imposta-ta dal Costruttore). Procedere quindi conla procedura di connessione tra telefonocellulare e sistema (consultare il manualedel proprio telefono cellulare).AVVERTENZA Nel caso in cui non si de-

sideri utilizzare il sistema vivavoce Blue-tooth, possibile evitare la ripetizione delmessaggio Accoppiare lapparecchio im-postando il valore minimo del volume del-la funzione PHONE dellautoradio (vedere

manuale Autoradio). Per poter udire il mes-saggio Accoppiare lapparecchio neces-sario accendere l'autoradio.Durante la procedura di connes-

sione comparir sul display del te-lefono cellulare un messaggio perinserire il codice di connessione; di-gitare il codice 1234 e poi con-fermare.

Successivamente la connessione si realiz-zer automaticamente a condizione che i dueapparecchi si trovino a pochi metri di distan-za. Un segnale acustico avviser che la con-nessione stabilita. Di seguito, come esem-pio, vengono indicate le operazioni da com-piere per effettuare la prima connessione sualcuni dei telefoni cellulari pi diffusi.

AVVERTENZA Il sistema funziona so-lo quando la chiave di avviamento ruo-tata in posizione MAR. La procedura di con-nessione deve essere effettuata solo la pri-ma volta che si abbina il telefono cellulareal sistema. Se alla prima connessione il si-stema vivavoce non dovesse pronunciare li-struzione Accoppiare lapparecchio, ef-fettuare il reset del sistema premendo con-temporaneamente i tasti (A) e (B) dellapulsantiera per almeno 2 secondi.

CONNESSIONE DI ULTERIORITELEFONI

Per connettere un ulteriore telefono cellula-re ripetere la procedura effettuata per la primaconnessione, fino ad un massimo di 3 telefo-ni cellulari. Per la connessione di ulteriori te-

lefoni cellulari sar necessaria la cancellazio-ne del sistema (vedere paragrafo seguente).

CANCELLAZIONE DEL SISTEMAPer effettuare la cancellazione della memoria

del sistema premere contemporaneamente i ta-sti verde (A) e rosso (B) per almeno 2 secondi.

AVVERTENZA La cancellazione dellamemoria comporta la disconnessione di tut-ti i telefoni memorizzati, leliminazione ditutti i numeri presenti nella memoria del si-stema vivavoce e richiede successivamen-te una nuova procedura di connessione perpoter riutilizzare il sistema.

PRIORIT DI COLLEGAMENTONel caso in cui siano stati connessi almeno

2 telefoni cellulari, il primo ad essere stato con-nesso (in ordine di tempo) risulter essere quel-lo con la priorit piu elevata. Ci significa cheallingresso in vettura, con sistema attivo (chia-ve su MAR), esso sar il primo ad essere cer-cato e, se presente, collegato. Se questo nondovesse essere trovato, il sistema proceder al-la ricerca degli altri telefoni cellulari.

GESTIONE DELLE CHIAMATEDi seguito vengono descritte le procedure ge-

nerali per la gestione delle chiamate, valide inlinea di massima per tutti i telefoni cellulari.Per effettuare una chiamatain modalit manuale

SIEMENS S55, necessario premere il tasto verde (A) per tra-sferire la chiamata in modalit vivavoce).Per effettuare una chiamata con i comandi vocali (previaassociazione dei campioni vocaliai numeri in rubrica)

Premere il tasto verde (A) sulla pul-santiera

attendere il segnale acustico e/o la com-parsa della scritta PHONE sul display del-lautoradio

pronunciare il nome che si desidera chia-mare

il sistema ripeter per conferma il nomepronunciato e successivamente effettuer lachiamata

se il nome pronunciato dal sistema perconferma diverso da quello desiderato, pre-mere il tasto rosso (B) sulla pulsantiera eripetere la procedura.

La chiamata tramite i comandi vocali con-sentita solo per i nomi della rubrica con ab-binato un campione vocale.

Il sistema vivavoce pu riconoscere tutti icampioni vocali registrati sul telefono cellu-lare, consentendo quindi di chiamare con ilcomando vocale tutti i numeri abbinati aicampioni vocali.

E comunque possibile memorizzare (in fun-zione del tipo di telefono cellulare) i campio-ni vocali direttamente nella rubrica del sistemavivavoce ma, in questo caso, il sistema viva-voce riconoscer solo questi campioni vocali.AVVERTENZA Per essere riconosciuti

dal sistema si devono pronunciare i coman-di vocali mantenendo un tono pi naturalepossibile, scandendo bene ed in modo chia-ro le parole.

Per un risultato ottimale, si consiglia di ef-fettuare le operazioni di abbinamento cam-pione vocale nelle seguenti condizioni:

con porte e finestrini chiusi con ventilazione e motore spenti (chia-

ve su MAR) dal sedile lato guida utilizzando preferibilmente nomi lun-

ghi (esempio: Mario Rossi invece di Ma-rio); il sistema registra il campione vocaleper un tempo massimo di 2 secondi.AVVERTENZA Prima di utilizzare i co-

mandi vocali verificare che sul telefono cel-lulare siano attive le funzioni Bluetooth,Comandi vocali e Wordspotting (in fun-zione del tipo di telefono cellulare). Le pre-stazioni del riconoscimento vocale sono va-riabili e dipendenti dal modello di telefonocellulare utilizzato.

Per accettare una chiamataPremere il tasto verde (A) sulla pulsan-

tiera.

Per respingere una chiamataPremere il tasto rosso (B) sulla pulsan-

tiera.Per concludere una chiamata

Premere il tasto rosso (B) sulla pulsan-tiera.Per ricomporre l'ultimo numerochiamato

Premere e mantenere premuto il tastoverde (A) sulla pulsantiera fino alla ricom-posizione del numero.Per gestire una seconda chiama-ta (in funzione del tipo di telefo-no cellulare)

Per rifiutare la seconda chiamata inarrivo premere il tasto rosso (B) sulla pul-santiera.

Per comunicare con il nuovo corri-spondente premere una volta il tastoverde (A) sulla pulsantiera.

Per riprendere la prima conversazionepremere ancora una volta il tasto verde(A).

Per terminare la comunicazione, pre-mere una volta il tasto rosso (B).AVVERTENZA Il sistema in grado di

gestire la seconda chiamata solo se sultelefono cellulare attiva la funzioneAvviso di chiamata.

Per registrare correttamente le improntevocali procedere nel modo seguente:

Scegliere un luogo silenzioso chiudere le porte e i cristalli spegnere il motore, lautoradio e lim-

pianto di climatizzazione parlare con tono naturale scandendo be-

ne le parole e indirizzandole verso il mi-crofono.

Parole chiaveIl sistema dispone anche di due comandi pre-

definiti (Telefono e Aggancia) per gesti-re le chiamate vocali. Il comando Telefono

serve per predisporre il sistema a ricevere ilnome della persona da chiamare (funzionesvolta dal tasto verde A sulla pulsantiera, men-tre il comando Aggancia serve per rifiutareo terminare una chiamata (funzione svolta daltasto rosso B).

Per utilizzare i comandi predefiniti ne-cessario effettuarne la registrazione vocale:

Per accettare/rifiutare/riagganciare una chiamatatramite la parola chiave

AVVERTENZA La gestione delle chia-mate tramite comandi vocali variabile edipendente dal telefono cellulare utilizzatoperci, per alcuni modelli, pu essere ne-cessario, per accettare/rifiutare/riaggan-ciare una chiamata, premere prima i corri-spondenti tasti A e B e poi pronunciare laparola chiave.

Per accettare una chiamata pronuncia-re la parola chiave Telefono.

Copia della rubrica del telefononella memoria del sistema

La tecnologia Bluetooth per il trasferi-mento dati permette di copiare la rubrica deltelefono cellulare nella memoria del sistema.

AVVERTENZA Possono essere copiatisolo i numeri memorizzati nella memoriadel telefono e pertanto, prima di copiare larubrica nella memoria del sistema, si consi-glia di trasferire dalla carta SIM alla memoriadel telefono cellulare tutti i numeri.

Cancellazione della memoria delsistema

Premere contemporaneamente e man-tenere premuti i tasti (A) e (B) sulla pul-santiera

il sistema annuncia lesecuzione dello-perazione.

AVVERTENZA La cancellazione dellamemoria comporta la disconnessione di tut-ti i telefoni collegati, leliminazione di tuttii numeri presenti nella memoria del sistemaed una nuova procedura di collegamento.

Regolazione del volumeUtilizzare i tasti del telefono per regolare

il volume della conversazione.

sibile evitare questa richiesta di autorizza-zione selezionando dal men del telefonoprima la funzione Bluetooth e poi Pe-riferiche collegate; quando compare il no-me del sistema selezionare Opzioni e poiRichiesta autorizzazione connessione.

Memorizzazione dei nomiPer attribuire un campione vocale ad un

nome, accedere alla rubrica del telefono, po-sizionarsi sul nome desiderato quindi sele-zionare in successione Dettagli, Opzio-ni e Aggiungi nome. Comparir il mes-saggio Premere Invio, quindi parlare do-po il tono: a questo punto premere Avvioe pronunciare il nome.

Per rimuovere il campione vocale da un no-me, accedere alla rubrica telefonica e sele-zionare in successione Dettagli, Opzio-ni e Nome vocale.

Selezionare Cambia per effettuare nuo-vamente la registrazione del campione voca-le.

Selezionare Cancella per cancellare ilcampione vocale registrato in precedenza.

Comunicazioni telefoniche

Per effettuare una chiamatain modalit manuale

Comporre il numero utilizzando la tastieradel telefono. La conversazione passa auto-maticamente in modalit vivavoce. I tasti (A)

e (B) sulla pulsantiera possono essere uti-lizzati per emettere e ricevere le chiamate.

Per effettuare una chiamata con il riconoscimento vocale

Premere il tasto verde (A) sulla pulsan-tiera, attendere il segnale acustico e pro-nunciare il nome della persona che si desi-dera chiamare.

Per ricomporre l'ultimo numerochiamato

Premere e mantenere premuto il tastoverde (A) sulla pulsantiera fino alla ricom-posizione del numero.

Per accettare una chiamataPremere il tasto verde (A) sulla pulsan-

tiera.

Per respingere una chiamataPremere il tasto rosso (B) sulla pulsan-

tiera.

Per gestire una seconda chiamata Per rifiutare la seconda chiamata in ar-

rivo premere il tasto rosso (B) sulla pul-santiera.

GENERALITS

La technologie Bluetooth permet le dia-logue sans aucune connexion lectrique (wi-reless) entre votre tlphone portable et lesystme mains libres prsent sur la voiture.

La communication est base sur la trans-mission dondes radio sur un petit rayon, quichange des donnes et la voix une vi-tesse denviron 1 Mb (Megabyte) par se-conde, dans un rayon daction denviron 10mtres.

La frquence radio utilise par la technolo-gie Bluetooth nest pas soumise aucu-ne restriction et elle est libre et gratuite.

Le systme mains libres reconnaissan-ce vocale permet de tlphoner en pleinescurit, libert et confort dans nimportequelle situation de conduite, en recevant etenvoyant des appels sans enlever les mainsdu volant, comme prvu par la loi.

Le systme install sur la voiture disposedes fonctions suivantes:

exclusion du son de lautoradio pendantles appels

COMPOSANTES DU SYSTEME

Les composantes principales du systmesont:

le microphone

le tableau de commande

La centrale lectronique, situe sur laplanche, intgre le transmetteur avec tech-nologie Bluetooth, le microprocesseurpour le traitement des signaux et le logicielde gestion.

Le microphone intgr dans le plafonnieravant est une composante de qualit le-ve, conu pour garantir la communicationoptimale dans toutes les conditions.

Le tableau de commande (fig. 1) se trou-ve sur le meuble central et dispose de deuxtouches, une vert (A) et une rouge (B), quipermettent dactiver toutes les fonctions dusystme.

Appuyer sur la touche verte (A) pour: activer la reconnaissance vocale

accepter lappel ou le double appel

recomposer le dernier numro appel

activer la modalit rserv.

Appuyer sur la touche rouge (B) pour: terminer un appel

refuser un appel.

Appuyer en mme temps lestouches verte (A) et rouge (B) pen-dant au moins 2 secondes pour an-nuler la mmoire du systme.

ATTENTION Lannulation de la mmoirecomporte la dconnexion de tous les tl-phones mmoriss, llimination de tous lesnumros prsents dans la mmoire du syst-me mains libres et demande ensuite une nou-velle procdure de connexion pour pouvoir r-utiliser le systme.

ACTIVATION DU SYSTEME Pour activer le systme aprs la premire

connexion, il suffit de tourner la cl de contactsur MAR. Lorsque le systme est actif, les deuxvoyants sur les touches du tableau de com-mande sallument. Pour connecter votre tl-phone portable au systme aprs la premireconnexion, il faut monter sur la voiture, le t-lphone et la fonction Bluetooth activs.

PREMIERE CONNEXION DU TELEPHONE PORTABLE AU SYSTEME

Pour effectuer la premire connexion entrele tlphone portable et le systme mainslibres il faut activer la fonction Bluetoothsur le tlphone, en suivant les instructionscorrespondantes (consulter le manuel de sontlphone). Lorsque la fonction est active,licne correspondante apparat sur lafficha-ge du tlphone.

Quand on se connecte au systme pen-dant la premire fois, on entend linstruc-tion Accoppiare lapparecchio (Jumelerlappareil) (le message sera toujours don-n en italien, langue tablie par leConstructeur). Procder donc la proc-dure de connexion entre le tlphone por-table et le systme (consulter le manuelde son tlphone portable).

ATTENTION Si lon ne dsire pas utiliserle systme mains libres Bluetooth, on peutviter la rptition du message Accoppiarelapparecchio (Jumeler lappareil) en ta-blissant la valeur minimum du volume de la

fonction PHONE de lautoradio (voir manuelAutoradio). Pour couter le message "Ac-coppiare l'apparecchio" (Jumeler lappareil)il est ncessaire dallumer l'autoradio.Pendant la procdure de connexion,

sur laffichage du tlphone por-table, apparatra un message pourinsrer le code de connexion; saisirle code 1234 et ensuite valider.

La connexion se ralisera ensuite automati-quement condition que les deux appareilsse trouvent quelques mtres de distance. Unsignal sonore indiquera que la connexion esttablie. Ci-aprs, comme exemple, sont indi-ques les oprations excuter pour effectuerla premire connexion sur un certain nombrede tlphones portables plus diffuss.ATTENTION Le systme fonctionne uni-

quement lorsque la cl de contact est tour-ne sur MAR. La procdure de connexionne doit tre effectue que la premire foisquon associe le tlphone portable au sys-tme. Si, lors de la premire connexion, lesystme mains libres ne prononce pas lins-truction Accoppiare lapparecchio (Jumelerlappareil), effectuer le reset du systme enappuyant en mme temps sur les touches(A) et (B) du tableau de commande pen-dant au moins 2 secondes.

CONNEXION DAUTRESAPPAREILS

Pour connecter un deuxime tlphone por-table, rpter la procdure effectue pour lapremire connexion, jusqu un maximum de3 tlphones portables. Pour la connexion

dautres tlphones portables il faudra effa-cer le systme (voir paragraphe suivant).

EFFACEMENT DU SYSTMEPour effectuer leffacement de la mmoire du

systme, appuyer en mme temps les touchesvertes (A) et rouge (B) pendant au moins 2secondes.ATTENTION Leffacement de la mmoire

provoque la dconnexion de tous les tl-phones mmoriss, llimination de tous lesnumros prsents dans la mmoire du syst-me mains libres et demande ensuite une nou-velle procdure de connexion pour utiliser lesystme.

PRIORITE DE CONNEXIONAu cas o au moins 2 tlphones portables

ont t connects, le premier qui est connec-t (en ordre de temps) est celui ayant la prio-rit la plus leve. Cela signifie que, lorsquonmonte sur la voiture, le systme activ (cl surMAR), il sera le premier tre recherch et,si prsent, connect. Sil nest pas trouv, lesystme passera la recherche des autres t-lphones portables.

dappeler travers la commande vocale tousles numros associs aux empreintes vocales.

Il est quand mme possible de mmoriser(en fonction du type de tlphone portable)les empreintes vocales directement dans le r-pertoire du systme mains libres mais, dans cecas, le systme mains libres reconnatra uni-quement ces empreintes vocales.ATTENTION Pour tre reconnu par le sys-

tme mains libres, il faut prononcer les com-mandes vocales en utilisant un ton le plusnaturel possible, en scandant distinctementet de faon claire les mots.

Pour un rsultat optimal, il est conseilldeffectuer les oprations dassociation em-preinte vocale dans les conditions suivantes:

les portes et les vitres ferms la ventilation et le moteur teints (cl

sur MAR) du sige ct conducteur en utilisant de prfrence des noms

longs (exemple: Mario Rossi au lieu deMario); le systme enregistre lemprein-te vocale pendant un temps maximum de2 secondes.ATTENTION Avant dutiliser les com-

mandes vocales, vrifier que sur le tlphoneportable sont actives les fonctions Blue-tooth, Commandes vocales et Word-spotting (en fonction du type de tlpho-ne portable). Les performances de la re-connaissance vocale sont variables et d-pendent du modle de tlphone portableutilis.

grer les appels vocaux. La commande Tl-phone sert prdisposer le systme recevoirle nom de la personne appeler (fonction trai-te par la touche verte A sur le tableau de com-mande), alors que la commande Raccrochersert refuser ou terminer un appel (fonctiontraite par la touche rouge B).

Pour utiliser les commandes prdfinies, ilest ncessaire den effecteur lenregistre-ment vocal:

Copie du rpertoire du tlphonedans la mmoire du systme

La technologie Bluetooth pour le trans-fert de donnes permet de copier le rper-toire du tlphone portable dans la mmoi-re du systme.

ATTENTION Ne peuvent tre copis queles numros mmoriss dans la mmoire dutlphone et, par consquent, avant de copierle rpertoire dans la mmoire du systme, onconseille de dplacer tous les numros de lacarte SIM la mmoire du tlphone portable.

GENERAL

Bluetooth wireless technology enableswireless connection between your mobilephone and the hands-free kit installed onyour car.

Communication is based on the transmis-sion of radio shortwaves, that exchanges da-ta and voice at a speed of approx. 1Mb/sec. within a range of about 10 me-tres.

The radio frequency used by Bluetoothwireless technology is not subject to restric-tions or limitations and is free of charge.

The hands-free kit with voice recognitionenables to make and receive calls safely andsecurely under whatever driving conditionwithout removing yours hands from thesteering wheel as required by current regu-lation.

SYSTEM COMPONENTS

The hands-free kit consists of the follow-ing main components:

electronic control box

microphone

keypad

The electronic control box, located in thedashboard, houses the Bluetooth wire-less technology radio transmitter, the signalprocessing microprocessor and the operat-ing software.

The high-grade microphone housed in thefront roof lamp has been designed to guar-antee optimum communication under what-ever condition.

The keypad (fig. 1) is located on the cen-tral console and has just two buttons: greenbutton (A) and red button (B) to be usedfor controlling every function of the hands-free kit.

Press the green button (A): to activate voice recognition

to answer a call or dual call

to redial the last number called

to activate the confidential mode.

Press the red button (B): to end the communication

to refuse a call.

Press the green (A) and red (B) but-tons simultaneously for at least 2seconds for clearing the systemmemory.

IMPORTANT Clearing the memory will dis-connect all stored phones, will clear any phonenumber stored in the system memory and willrequire to repeat the pairing phase.

ACTIVATING THE SYSTEM

After first pairing, just turn the ignition keyto MAR to activate the system. Both lightson the keypad are on when the system isactive. To pair your phone and the hands-free kit after first pairing, get into the carwith your phone on and the Bluetoothfunction active.

PAIRING YOUR MOBILEPHONE AND THE HANDS-FREEKIT FOR THE FIRST TIME

To pair your mobile phone with your hands-free kit for the first time you shall activate theBluetooth function on your phone as de-scribed on your phone users guide. The cor-responding icon is displayed on your phonewhen the function is active.

When pairing for the first time, the messageAccoppiare lapparecchio (Pair kit) will beheard (the message will always be in Ital-ian since it is the default language).Phone/hands-free kit pairing procedure de-scribed in the phone manual shall thereforebe carried out (follow the pairing instructionsgiven on your phone users guide).

IMPORTANT When the use of thehands-free kit with Bluetooth wireless tech-nology is not desired, message Accoppiarelapparecchio (Pair kit) can be preventedfrom being repeated by setting car radiochannel PHONE minimum volume (seeSound System manual). Message "Accop-

piare l'apparecchio" (Pair kit) shall only beheard if the sound system is on.

During the pairing procedure themessage asking for the passcodewill be displayed; enter 1234 aspasscode and then confirm it.

Once this done, connection between yourphone and your hands-free kit will take placeautomatically as soon as the two devices areless than a few meters apart. A beep willbe heard, indicating that connection is es-tablished. Here follows an example of firstpairing procedure for the most common mo-bile phones.

IMPORTANT The system operates on-ly when the ignition key is turned to MAR.Pairing procedure shall be performed only thefirst time you pair your phone and your hands-free kit. Should instruction Accoppiare lap-parecchio (Pair kit) not be heard at first pair-ing, reset the system by pressing simultane-ously buttons (A) and (B) on the keypad for2 seconds at least.

PAIRING WITH OTHERADDITIONAL PHONES

If you decide to pair another phone, you justhave to follow the ordinary pairing proceduredescribed in the previous paragraph, in this wayyou can connect up to 3 mobile phones. To pairother phones you shall reset the system (asdescribed in next paragraph).

CLEARING THE MEMORY

Press the green (A) and red (B) buttons si-multaneously for at least 2 seconds for clearingthe system memory.

IMPORTANT Clearing the memory willdisconnect all stored phones, will clear anyphone number stored in the system memoryand will require to repeat the pairing phase.

PAIRING PRIORITY

If 2 mobile phones at least are paired, thefirst phone paired (in chronological order) willhave highest priority. This means that whengetting into the car with system active (keyat MAR), this will be the first phone to besearched and, if present, to be connected.Should the priority phone not be found, thesystem will then search for the other phones.

Making a call using the voicerecognition (after assigning avoice tag to a phonebook entry)

wait for sound signal to be heard and/orPHONE writing to appear on sound sys-tem display

pronounce the name of the person youwish to call

the system will repeat the name for con-firmation and then will start the call

if the name pronounced by the system isnot the required one, press the red button (B)on the keypad and repeat the procedure.

Call through voice recognition is possibleonly if voice tags have been assigned tophonebook entries.

The hands-free kit recognises all voice tagsrecorded on the phone thus enabling to callwith voice recognition any voice taggednumber.

It is however possible to store (according tomobile phone type) voice tags directly in thehands-free kit memory but, in this case, thehands-free kit will recognise just those voicetags.

IMPORTANT Voice prompts are recog-nised by the system only if properly record-ed, for this reason you have to speak outnaturally and clearly.

To obtain optimum operation, please, com-ply with these recommendations:

close the doors and windows

turn off your engine and ventilation (keyat MAR)

make the recording from the driversseat

if using long names (e.g.: John Browninstead of John) notice that the systemwill record a voice tag for max. 2 seconds.

IMPORTANT Before using voice promptscheck that Bluetooth wireless technolo-gy, Voice recognition and Wordspottingfunctions on your phone are active (ac-cording to mobile phone type). Voice recog-nition performances are available and de-pending on mobile phone model used.

Answering a call

Press the green button (A) on the keypad.

Refusing a call

Press the red button (B) on the key-pad.

Ending a call

Press the red button (B) on the key-pad.

Repeat the procedure for each name to bevoice tagged.

Keywords

The hands-free kit has two preset voiceprompts (Telephone and Hang up). Tele-phone is used to call or answer a call (func-tion of the green button A on the keypad,whereas Hang up is used to refuse or enda call (function of the red button B).

You need to record keywords for use withWordspotting option, proceed as follows:

select the word to be recorded (Tele-phone or Hang up)

wait for the beep

pronounce the name you wish to call

the system will repeat it for confirma-tion and then will start the call

if the name pronounced by the systemis not the one you desire, say Hang upor press the red button (B) on the keypadand repeat the procedure.

Answering/refusing/ ending acall using the Wordspottingoption

IMPORTANT Call handling through voiceprompts is variable and it depends on thetype of cellular phone being used. For cer-tain models it can therefore be necessary topress first buttons A and B and then pro-nounce the "keyword for answering/re-fusing/ ending a call.

To answer a call say Telephone.

To hang up say Hang up.

To refuse a call say Hang up.

Copying the phone book tohands-free kit system memory

Bluetooth wireless technology enablesto copy the cellular phone book to the hands-free kit system memory.

IMPORTANT You can only copy the en-tries stored in phone memory, therefore be-fore copying your phone book to the systemmemory, you are recommended to trans-fer all entries from the SIM card to the phonememory.

to the phone menu and select the Blue-tooth wireless technology option and thenView paired devices; when the systemname is displayed select Options and thenRequest conn. Authorisation.

Storing names

To assign a voice tag to a name, accessyour phone book, find the desired name andclick in sequence on Details, Optionsand Add voice tag. The following messageis displayed Press Start then speak afterthe tone. Then press Start and say thename.

To remove the voice tag for any name, ac-cess your phone book and click in sequenceon Details, Options and Voice tag.

By clicking Change you can re-record overthe voice tag.

By clicking Erase you will delete thevoice tag recording.

Die Freisprecheinrichtung mit Spracher-kennung ermglicht es, in vollkommener Si-cherheit, Freiheit und bequem in jeder Fahr-situation zu telefonieren, Anrufe zu emp-fangen und zu senden, ohne die Hnde vomLenkrad zu nehmen, so wie es das Gesetzvorschreibt.

KOMPONENTEN DES SYSTEMS

Die Hauptkomponenten des Systems sind:

Elektronikgehuse

Mikrofon

Druckknopftafel

Das Elektronikgehuse, das im Instru-mentenbrett untergebracht ist, integriert denRadiosender mit der Technologie Blue-tooth, den Mikroprozessor fr die Sig-nalsteuerung und die Verwaltungs-Software.

Das Mikrofon, das in der vorderen Decken-leuchte integriert ist, ist eine Komponentehoher Qualitt und wurde geplant, um un-ter allen Bedingungen eine optimale Kom-munikation zu garantieren.

Die Druckknopftafel (Abb. 1) befindetsich auf der mittleren Konsole und verfgtber zwei Tasten, eine grne (A) und einerote (B), die es ermglichen, alle Funktio-nen des Systems zu aktivieren.

Drcken Sie die grne Taste (A), um: die Spracherkennung zu aktivieren

den Anruf oder doppelten Anruf anzu-nehmen

die zuletzt gewhlte Nummer erneut zuwhlen

den Diskretmodus zu aktivieren.

Drcken Sie die roten Taste (B), um: einen Anruf zu beenden

einen Anruf abzulehnen.

Drcken Sie gleichzeitig die grne(A) und die rote Taste (B) mindestens2 Sekunden lang, um den Speicherdes Systems zu lschen.

ZUR BEACHTUNG Die Lschung desSpeichers fhrt zur Unterbrechung der Verbin-dung aller gespeicherten Telefone, zur Lschungaller im Speicher der Freisprechanlage vor-handenen Nummern und erfordert in der Fol-ge ein neues Anschlussverfahren, um das Sy-stem wieder benutzen zu knnen.

AKTIVIERUNG DES SYSTEMS Fr die Aktivierung des Systems nach der er-

sten Verbindung gengt es, den Zndschlsselauf MAR zu drehen. Wenn das System akti-viert ist, leuchten die beiden Leds auf den Ta-sten der Druckknopftafel. Um Ihr Handy nachdem ersten Anschluss mit dem System zu ver-binden, ist es notwendig, mit eingeschaltetemHandy und bei aktivierter Funktion Blue-tooth in das Fahrzeug einzusteigen.

ERSTER ANSCHLUSS DESHANDYS AN DAS SYSTEM

Um den ersten Anschluss zwischen demHandy und der Freisprecheinrichtung herzu-stellen, ist es notwendig, die Funktion Blu-etooth auf dem Telefon zu aktivieren, in-dem Sie die entsprechenden Anweisungenbefolgen (konsultieren Sie das Handbuch Ih-res Telefons). Wenn die Funktion aktiv ist, er-scheint im Display des Telefons das entspre-chende Programmsymbol.

Wenn das System zum ersten Mal an-geschlossen wird, hrt man die AnweisungAccoppiare lapparecchio (das Gert an-passen) (die Meldung erfolgt stets auf ita-lienisch, in der vom Hersteller eingestelltenSprache). In diesem Fall muss der Verbin-dungsvorgang zwischen Telefon und Sy-stem ausgefhrt werden (konsultieren Siedas Handbuch Ihres Telefons).ZUR BEACHTUNG Wenn Sie die Frei-

sprecheinrichtung Bluetooth nicht verwendenwollen, kann die Wiederholung der MeldungAccoppiare lapparecchio (das Gert anpas-sen) durch die Einstellung der Mindeslautstr-

ke der Funktion PHONE des Autoradios (sieheAnleitung des Autoradios) vermieden werden.Um die Meldung "Accoppiare l'apparecchio"(das Gert anpassen) zu hren, muss das Au-toradio eingeschaltet sein.Whrend des Verbindungsver-

fahrens erscheint im Display desHandys eine Meldung fr die Ein-gabe des Verbindungscodes. Siemssen den Code 1234 einge-ben und dann besttigen.

Nachfolgend wird die Verbindung automatischhergestellt, wenn die beiden Gerte sich in we-nigen Metern Entfernung befinden. Ein akusti-sches Signal zeigt an, dass die Verbindung her-gestellt wurde. Nachfolgend werden wie im Bei-spiel die Vorgnge angegeben, die auszufhrensind, um den ersten Anschluss auf einigen deram meisten verbreiteten Handys herzustellen.ZUR BEACHTUNG Das System funktio-

niert nur, wenn der Zndschlssel auf MARsteht. Das Verbindungsverfahren muss nur daserste Mal ausgefhrt werden, wenn das Han-dy mit dem System gekoppelt wird. Wenn dieFreisprecheinrichtung beim ersten Anschlussnicht die Anweisung Accoppiare lappa-recchio (das Gert anpassen) ausspricht, denReset des Systems ausfhren und gleichzeitigdie Tasten (A) und (B) der Druckknopftafelmindestens 2 Sekunden lang drcken.

ANSCHLUSS WEITERERTELEFONE

Um ein weiteres Handy zu anzuschlieen,wiederholen Sie das fr die erste Verbindungausgefhrte Verfahren bis maximal 3 Han-

dys. Fr den Anschluss weiterer Telefonemuss das System gelscht werden (siehefolgenden Abschnitt).

HAUPTANWENDERWenn mindestens 2 Handys angeschlossen

sind, wird zuerst (in zeitlicher Reihenfolge) dieVerbindung des Handys hergestellt, das diehhere Prioritt hat. Das bedeutet, dass esbeim Einstieg in das Fahrzeug bei eingeschal-tetem System (Schlssel auf MAR) zuerstgesucht und falls vorhanden verbunden wird.Sollte es nicht gefunden werden, sucht das Sy-stem die anderen Handys.

Der Anruf durch Sprachbefehle ist nur frdie Namen des Telefonbuchs bei Zuordnungeines Stimmabdrucks zugelassen.

Die Freisprecheinrichtung kann alle aufdem Handy registrierten Stimmabdrcke er-kennen und ermglicht es somit, alle denStimmabdrcken zugeordneten Nummernmit dem Sprachbefehl zu whlen.

Es ist jedoch mglich, die Stimmabdrcke(je nach Typ des Handys) direkt im Telefon-buch der Freisprecheinrichtung zu speichern,aber in diesem Fall erkennt die Freisprechein-richtung nur diese Stimmabdrcke.ZUR BEACHTUNG Zur Erkennung durch

das System mssen die Sprachbefehle in ei-nem mglichst natrlichen Tonfall ausge-sprochen werden, wobei die Worte klar unddeutlich auszusprechen sind.

Fr ein optimales Ergebnis empfiehlt essich, die Vorgnge fr die Zuordnung desStimmabdrucks unter folgenden Bedingun-gen auszufhren:

bei geschlossenen Tren und Fenstern bei ausgeschalteter Belftung und Mo-

tor (Schlssel auf MAR) vom Fahrersitz Verwenden Sie mglichst lange Namen

(Beispiel: Mario Rossi anstatt Mario).Das System registriert den Stimmabdruckfr eine Zeit von max. 2 Sekunden.ZUR BEACHTUNG Vor der Verwendung

der Sprachbefehle prfen Sie, ob auf demHandy die Funktionen Bluetooth,Sprachbefehle und Wordspotting akti-viert sind (je nach Typ des Handys). Die Lei-stungsfhigkeit der Stimmerkennung ist un-terschiedlich und hngt vom verwendetenModell des Handys ab.
