STS Installation• Located as close as possible to the tank to

minimize plumbing run

• Dedicated pickup and return lines, separated from the fuel lines of the genset and / or other pumps

• Pickup tube at one end of the tank and a suction pipe as close as possible to the bottom of the tank at the deepest spot. An oversized, low restriction foot valve is recommended to keep the line primed.

• The return line should be placed at the farthest most point from the pick-up tube

• A priming-tee should be installed on the highest point of the suction line

• A backing wrench is required to connect to the provided pipe nipples – do not put and stress on plumbing

• Always comply with all applicable standards, safety guidelines as well as local, state and federal regulations.
