Ali Baba and the forty thieves and Aladdin have many similarities and differences. They are amazing I would read them and watch them all day. Aladdin was made a Disney movie in 1992. And Ali Baba was a story we read in our elements of literature books.

In the two stories there are a lot of similarities but the ones that I am about to tell you are just some, they both have trickster characters.

In both stories they have animals. They also are fantastic stories.

My final similarities are the fantastic settings in the desert. Also they both have people that die.

There are many differences. for example Aladdin tries to get a princess and Ali Baba steals gold.

Although I said the settings are both in the desert, they have a difference. Ali Baba takes place in a big house and Aladdin takes place in a small city.

There are many more differences but I’m ending it with my final one. Aladdin gets to merry a princess. Ali Baba gets all the gold.

In conclusion Aladdin and Ali Baba and the forty thieves were both amazing Arabian folktales. I hope to read a million of them.
