History

The story of the «Voevodyno Resort and Spa

Complex» dates back to 2000, when a small

wooden hut stood in the forests in Carpathian

mountains among the noisy creeks, running

from the mountain slopes and full of wild

trout.

The sound of water gave the name to this

area, as «Voevodyno» in Ukrainian means

«howling water».

This humble hut, where a company of friends

loved to come for recreation, gave rise to

«Voevodyno Resort and Spa Hotel Complex»,

one of the best and biggest in the region.

After 15 years of growth and development,

«Voevodyno» boasts its 17 hectares of territory

with 3 hotels, 14 cottages, restaurants and

extensive SPA and leisure facilities.

The Schönborn park is a carefully restored replica of the famous European park which once surrounded the Schönborn Castle in Transcarpathia. Many artists, sculptors, architects and historians took part in the restoration. The territory of the resort continues into the Park, which is open for visit every day.
