The U17 Football Panel in Kerry
Cork Minor Footballers In the glory of our
Senior All-Ireland
victory, we must not
forget the disappointment of our
Minors, who were
narrowly beaten by
Tyrone 1-13 to 1-12.
Brian Cuthbert and his team have put in
a huge effort all year,
and have provided us
with some great entertainment, and
there is no doubt that
we‟ll see many of
these young men in Cork jerseys again in
the future. They have
also done us and
themselves proud.

Hurling Marathon Avondhu and
Duhallow recently
completed a 24 hour
hurling marathon in Mallow GAA Complex,
and are looking good
for the Guinness
book of records.
The mammoth staging involved 46
players, representing
all the clubs of
Avondhu and Duhallow. Two full
teams took the field
with eight substitutes
on each side. The novel concept was
organised by the
Dromahane
Supporters of Mallow General Hospital and
the Friends of Mallow
Hospital who hope to
raise a substantial
sum for the hospital.
