Indian Air Force (Officers) Vs. IBM - Daksh The inaugural match was played between champions of last year (IAF- Officers) and IBM-Daksh. Captain of IBM-Daksh called wrongly so Wg. Cdr. Rakesh Khera asked IBM-Daksh to bat first as weather was heavy. Openers went after the bowlers from the word go making 32 runs from first 3 overs. AP Singh provided the required breakthrough and took one more wkt while Asif Khan took a wkt each in his first 2 overs sending IBM-Daksh on the back foot. IBM-Daksh kept on playing big shots rather than building a partnership that resulted in loss of wkts at regular intervals. IBM-Daksh was bowled out for 101 runs with 10 deliveries yet to be bowled. National Housing Bank Deciding to bat on winning the toss, HUDCO added 24 runs for the 1st wkt partnership and 69 runs came from 2nd wkt partnership wherein Shashi Bhushan was the main scorer. Shashi Bhushan became the first century maker of this tournament with a fluent cover drive on the 69th delivery that he faced.
