We invite you to join us for an orientation to learn about attachment and security and All Our Kin’s exciting

upcoming Circle of Security Project.

At this orientation, you will:

• Learn about security and attachment

• Learn why security matters for children – and the adults who care for them

• Learn how Circle of Security can give you a roadmap to understanding the

emotions and behaviors of children in your care

Circle of Security

for Licensed Family Child Care Providers

October-December 2013

All Our Kin’s upcoming Circle of Security Project is a special opportunity for a select

group of highly-committed licensed family child care providers. PROVIDERS WILL

BE COMPENSATED FOR PARTICIPATING IN ALL 8 SESSIONS AND COMPLETING

ALL FORMS.

We are offering a series of 8-week educational sessions for providers. You will join

a group of 8 providers on a journey over 8 weeks to learn about children’s emotions

and behaviors. These groups are designed to help you become more aware of

children’s needs and give you a roadmap for understanding children’s challenging

behaviors.

Groups will be offered in English and Spanish from 6-7:30 PM. Light dinner served.

ENGLISH NEW HAVEN: Oct. 8, 15, 22, 29 Nov. 5, 12, 19 Dec. 3 (Tuesdays)

SPANISH NEW HAVEN: Oct. 9, 16, 23, 30 Nov. 6, 13, 20 Dec. 4 (Wednesdays)

ENGLISH BRIDGEPORT: Oct. 8, 15, 22, 29 Nov. 5, 12, 19 Dec. 3 (Tuesdays)

SPANISH BRIDGEPORT: Oct 7, 12, 21, 28 Nov. 4, 9, 18 Dec. 2 (Mondays, except for 2 make-up Saturdays)

Please note that in order to apply to participate in the Circle of Security Project, you

must attend one of the orientation meetings.
