LOVE never fails…………..Corinthians 13:8
Dear Parents/Carers 13th January 2017 week 17
After School Activities Club The clubs are very popular with lots of children wanting places. Please be assured that we try to be as fair as we can when allocating places. The clubs have limited capacity and therefore we try to make sure that, termly, everyone gets an opportunity for a club place. We have waiting lists for our clubs and if a child does not attend a club for 2 consecutive weeks, the spot will be offered to a child on the waiting list.
KS2 Eucharist Mass 18th January 2017
On Wednesday 18th January 2017 Father Leonard will be leading our first Communion Mass at school for Key Stage 2 pupils. A letter was sent out for you to sign for their attendance to either receive communion or just a blessing. Father Leonard will lead preparation sessions later this term for all those pupils in KS2 who are interested in taking their First Communion. A separate letter of invitation is to follow.
Deadline for Reception School Application is 15th
January 2017.
In the event of an
emergency closure
of school
Please be advised
that we will email
and text parents
using ParentMail if
the school has to
close due to adverse
weather, etc. We
will also publish a
message on our
website. Please
ensure that you are
registered with
ParentMail as it is
the most effective
way to communicate
with our families.
Please see the office
if you have any
questions.
Bishop Christopher’s Blessing What a lovely blessing and assembly we had which was led by Bishop Christopher of Southwark. A group of representative pupils from our school council, Faith Team and the Head Boys and Girls also had a question and answer session with the Bishop. Daniel, one of our Head Boys, presented Bishop Christopher with a wooden heart, a memento from All Saints’ for the day. Among those at the blessing were Governors, office staff past and present, as well as parents. We had a lovely day. Photos are on the website and we have sent some to the Bridge Newspaper!
Active Kids 2017 Once again, we are
collecting Sainsbury’s Active Kids vouchers.
Last year we managed to get some amazing sports
equipment for the school and hope, with your help again, we have the same
success this year. The collection box will be in the
reception area from 25th January 2017. Thank you for
your continued support.
Small Saints Sunday School Sunday School at All Saints’ is run on the 1st and the last Sunday of every month from 10-10.30am. During this time a prayer is said and biblical stories are learnt and there are always crafts and activities, such as playing instruments, badge making and much more. Why not go along and see for yourselves?
Breakfast Club Breakfast Club will be in the main hall next week due to work taking place on the heating. Please meet Mrs Caddell at the Lower KS2 side doors to gain entry into the hall. Thank you for your patience. Peace and LOVE be with you! Josephine Copeland
