‘Polaris’ heating efftciency is based on convection and the design allows free flow of solution through the outer casing and directly over the heating elements. Uniform heating of the tank solution is therefore achieved rapidly.

A further innovative feature is the incorporation of a ‘safe level’ indicator as a visual warning to operators against minimum tank solution levels. A built-in prevention against overheating is fitted which disconnects the heater from the power supply.

Considerable attention has been given to safety in the design of the ‘Polaris’ and as a result, the heater is equipped with a positive safety earth. An insulation test of 10 kV is applied to all ‘Polaris’ heaters.

This is much in excess of that called for on American tests for immersion heaters as required by Underwriters Laboratories lncorDorated USA.

The lmpervio ‘Polaris’ IS extremely compact enabling it to be fitted behind anode baskets and in other confined areas. lnsfallation is now made easy by means of new fitted non-corrodable adjustable hanging brackets.

A few of the most interesting are: micro and printed circuit board manufacturers; beverage producers- (no fouling problems); original equipment for electroless plating plants; heating acid solutions to polish crystal glass; precious metal depositing and recovery.

Sales of ‘Polaris’ in the Export Market are as successful as the Home Trade and Braude are endeavouring to appoint reputable Companies in various overseas territories to act as distributors and stockists.
