2014 crown? It feels amazing. It was a tough journey. It was a lot of hard work and now that I am here, I feel very blessed. I am happy. I have made my friends and family proud and I give praise to God.
Who was your greatest competitor while in camp?My greatest competitor was Miss Edo. She’s beautiful, talented and well behaved. She was amazing. That not withstanding, we had to bond. The girls became sisters. You wake up in the morning; you meet the same girls with whom you do practically everything. We argue, we make-up. We had so many great moments.
What was going through your mind
announced?I was so scared and was asking in my
mind: could it be me? Oh God, could I be the last person to be called? Because at the screening in Abuja, I was number one but I was the last person to be called. So, I wasn’t really sure what would happen.
Did you see yourself winning?Of course; because, for any girl buying the
form, it means that she is ready to become the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria. I always knew I would be a beauty queen. Years back, the

Did you get the support of your family when you entered for the contest?
I had people who asked me if I was sure the contest was genuine and others who encouraged me to go on. But I had my family; they supported me, which was what made me to keep pushing and I am here today.
You school in South Africa. Was it
to Nigeria? No. What I actually wanted was to transfer to the University of Johannesburg. But in South Africa, the school session begins in January. So I had all the time. I had already applied and I did my interview before coming back to Nigeria; which was the most important thing to do. So this is like a waiting period for me.
What is the next step for you as the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria 2014?I will work on my pet project.

Hi Teri, hope u had a good day. I like reading ur columns in Sunday Vanguard newspapers. Please I want to know if Margarine is different from Butter. Good day Chimmy, Simply put, Butter is made from cream, margarine is hydrogenated vegetable oil.Brown rice and Ofada rice are readily available and now come in packs like Uncle Ben’s rice. In Lagos, Park and shop, Ebeano Supermarket as well as Sura shopping mall all sell Ofada Rice. If in Abuja, try Amigos Supermanrket or Grand Square. Hope this helps. Best wishes, Teri M.
