HOA LU TAM COC 1 DAY TRIP

These famous sites are located in Ninh Binh province, 120 km south of Hanoi. Tam Coc’s karst sugar loaf mountains resemble the topography at Ha Long Bay - but with acres of lush rice paddies instead of emerald waters. The area supports many farming enterprises, you may spot the odd stray goat perched on a hillside, and of course fishing.The 2 main sanctuaries built in the 17th century in Hoa Lu, are dedicated to the Dinh and early Le Dynasty. Here, visitors are enthralled by the ancient artefacts, including the stone pedestal of a royal throne, bronze bells and statue of the Emperors.

- Board the sampan boats, owned and expertly rowed by locals. gently sail along the Ngo Dong river,

capturing the wonderful scenery of karst hills, rice fields and quaint villages. Pass through 3 caves

- Return to Tam Coc wharf to rest and relax
