As Scouting is worldwide, and APO is worldwide, so shouldlibraries dedicated in Brod Bado’s memory at his hometown
of Kalibo and in APO communities be worldwide. It wasAPO-ACNA Second Vice President Brod Peewee Munson’s
idea to dedicate to Bado the 2001-02 APO Internationalservice project: book drive. Some 120,000 books and morethan 200 electronic equipment found a home in Philippine
schools and libraries. Thanks to the effort of The Dr. Librado I.Ureta Foundation Director Sis Dr. Belle Tumbokon, the idea –
the dream of a series of The Dr. Librado I. Ureta memoriallibraries – has started to become a reality. Para kay Brod
Bado…. Brod Mel S Gonzales Jr, LIUF President, 2003-10
