Insurance of Instruments. Subscribers are responsible for the value of a'ny telephone

instrtllnent or apparatus including the portion of the telephone line on their premises rented fron) the Departrnent, which nlay be destroyed or damaged by hr~ or other cau __ e. It is advisable, therefore, to cover the \'alu~ of such instrulnent apparatus and lIne by inSllran 'e.

Cancellation of T lephone ervices. A ~ubscriber whu de~ires to discontinue his service is

required to give at least one 111onth's notice in writing. A subscriber who chang s his address and fails to notify

the Departlnent within I week aft r leaving his former prclnises is liabl to a p nalty of £10.
