Every single day, I park my car and walk onto this beautiful campus. If I ever see groundkeepers, I like to have a chance to say, “Thank you.” Every day something is blooming. Every day I get to look at the amazing “redwoods” outside of the library. Aromatic flowers bloom all over. These things do not stay beautiful by themselves. This setting is itself a blessing. Every day, I see our recycling team carting and sorting our materials to contribute in a fundamental way to the environment and to the idea of sustainability. Thank you to Sean and his team! I get to work with so many good souls. I am so lucky to be with colleagues who care so much about doing good work every day, who are so rich in experience and knowledge. I am so appreciative of the student energy, creativity, curiosity, sensitivity, and brightness. What’s not to love?
