About PEC

Priyadarshini Engineering College, the flagship of Jai

Barath Charitable Trust, was established in 1995 at

Vaniyambadi in Vellore district of Tamilnadu. The

college has been approved by All India Council for

Technical Education, New Delhi and affiliated to

Anna University, Chennai. Priyadarshini Engineering

College situated in the rural area of Vaniyambadi,

Vellore District is committed to the vision of

developing itself into a multi campus, Inter -

disciplinary Institution of Excellence through symbiotic

efforts and innovative practices of management and

faculty to provide the student with an ambient

academic environment, ideal for the pursuit of knowledge

and development carrier.

Ÿ Establishment of chapters at various places.

Ÿ Creation of Endowment fund to give awards for the

outstanding students in their final University

Examinations.

Ÿ Awarding best Alumni in different fields and categories.

Ÿ Providing placement assistance for current students.

Ÿ Providing financial aid for needy and deserving students.

Ÿ Honoring bright students with scholarships and/or

prizes.

Ÿ Arranging book-bank facility for needy students.

Ÿ Promoting sports, cultural and literary activities.

Ÿ Involving in the development of PEC, its faculty and

students.

Ÿ Bridging the gap between institute and industry.

Ÿ Sharing views and experiences of alumnus for the benefit

of students.

Ÿ Facilitating contacts between alumnus and current

students of PEC.

Ÿ Preparing and circulating Alumni Newsletter annually.

Ÿ Arranging Annual Alumni Meet.

Ÿ The chapters will function independently and

the Alumni Association would be to support

and facilitate the chapter activities.

Ÿ The Association shall work mainly through its

chapters.

Ÿ The Association shall also have its chapters in

different cities in India and Abroad.

Ÿ Minimum required members for establishing a

chapter will be 25.

Ÿ All those who have not yet registered

themselves with the Alumni Association will

be enrolled afresh at a fee of Rs. 500. They

have to fill up a registration form, available on

the Internet at www.priyadarshinialumni.net.in

Ÿ The various chapters of the Alumni

Association shall work independently of each

other.

Endowment fund instituted by PEC Alumni staff

Ÿ PEC Alumni staff (2014 - 2015 Academic Year) created an endowment fund of Rs.20,000/- to award the rank holders, of each student from UG and PG Department who secure University rank.

PEC Endowment fund instituted by alumnus of MCA.

Ÿ Alumnus of MCA (2002-2005 batch) instituted an endowment fund of Rs.30,000/- for awarding the final year students of MCA who secure I and II rank in their final year University Examinations.

PEC Endowment fund instituted by alumnus of CSE.

Ÿ Mr.K.Selvakumar, Alumni of B.E(CSE) Batch (1998-2002) instituted an endowment fund of Rs.20,000/- for awarding the topper of the CSE Department in Anna University Examinations.
