Each one wants to study further to college, learning more for the future. We want to go

and reach our ambition in life. We want to go to the top of the mountain for the fresh air; we

want to go to the beaches for us to relax and to have some fun; we want to go to some

countries to see the beauty of the nature, but the most important thing for me is to go to

school and to learn more things, in which I believe is a great thing and because I care for my

future and for the future of other. I always put in mind what my father said: You have to studyhard, go to school do not be lazy, imitate your older brother because it is the treasure in you

that no one can take away and for you to have a better future not like ours, It is my inspiration

in life with my family helping me to further go.

Studying is a great thing for us to succeed in life; no one succeeds without any learning,

even how to write and read, knowing the basic operation in Mathematics in the Elementary and

enhance it in High School. And going to college is a great opportunity for us to have, it is a big

thing to finish such a degree of education having course finished and afterwards having a good

job. College helps us to achieve what we want in life, fulfilling the ambition that we have and

those we aim to come true. Studying lead us to success on what we are saying, the success that

we are aiming. Studying leads us to our future, on what we are to be, the person whom will

face the future. I want to be computer engineer in the future, having lots of knowledge about

the computer, not just being in the bottom of the ladder without trying stepping up to get to

the top and go higher and have courage on what to face. My child you are not created to be

fat little ducks waddling in the mud but to be an eagle to rise and explore the kingdom of God.

Msgr. Aloysius the founder of the Sisters of Mary says, with these words, I must go and

continue not just in the ground without looking and soaring up high to see all the things that I

must know and I realized that we must not be stagnant lake but instead we must be flowing

river which never to stop.

But there are some instances that we cannot afford to go to school. And if one wants to

finish his study and do not have something to support his study, he will do her best to have his

study whether he will be working student in the company that accepts working students or

search for somebody who can help or sustain his study by having Scholarship. My parents do

their best to help us in our study. My mother is a housekeeper doing the entire household task

and my father is just a company driver but it does not suffice for our study, for the 6 of us, and

some of the money is use for everyday needs. Since my parents income is small and was used

for the everyday necessity so my parents cannot afford to send me to college also because my

brothers and sisters are all studying; in high school and elementary and will study in collegesoon and so I need some help and this is the best thing, having scholarship. Scholarship helps us

to have our study and help us to achieve our goals in life. I know that you are offering

scholarship which I heard from Sr. Mylene B. Arambulo, our school head. I know so, that

scholarship needs a lot of effort in having it and needs sacrifice to finish it, to study and

maintain our grades and the standard of having the scholarship. We must show our talent in

our little ways by example joining to different clubs in which I have joined when I was in high

school. I had joined the Mentors Club in which I am a student teacher in Mathematics, teaching



my younger brothers and even my batch mates and that I am grateful in sharing what I have to

my younger brothers. I also joined the Alibata Club or Theater in which I stand as the president

that I learn how to deal with my colleagues interpreting songs, doing pantomimes and others. If

I studied through the scholarship I must continue and persist until I reach my aim in life, my

ambition. If the day come that I reach my ambition and be one of those successful persons I will

be grateful, I will bring back the goodness that I received just passing the chain to others and topractice the phrase that I learn pay it forward, it does not mean we have to pay those who

help us giving back to them what they have give, but those persons want us to help others in

our extend, passing the chain of love that they gave to us to others and those whom you help

will pass the help that they receive if they have to.
