Our corporate name was changed to TANRAY, which combines the words “TANZOU” (forging) and “RAY” (light that is emitted during the forging process). In addition, our logo is a forging ring on top and an anvil (seat for a press) on bottom. It refers to very accurately forged rings made from the precision of an anvil.

Ring forging of special materials (stainless steels, coppers, aluminum etc.) is achieved by thorough control of forgimg temprature. copper product after turning(φ500)

Reduce the amount of material used by making deformed ring

We succeeded in the reduction of raw material turned on and shortening the machining time, to make deformed ring by forging process. Deformed ring product(Ø100~Ø1000)

Substantial shortening of the turning time by excelled'Machining Allowance' (3mm in the standard, 6mm in the maximum)

In case the ring of our standard size(Outer diameter 100-300mm), machining allowance as forged condition is 3.0mm per each dimension(Outer/Inner dia. and Width), and it becomes 6.0mm for the ring of 1,000mm in outer diameter, as our maximum size.(equipped with the sizing press facilities)

Steady procurement of raw materials with lower cost can be achieved by our own heating furnace

Homogeneous structure of the products by spheroidizedannealing furnace(normalizing also possible)

We improve machinability and stabilize hardening by eliminating the internal stress after forging and refining the large crystal grain.

Mass production of the thinner items byenhancing ring cutting ability

We can supply minimum 13.0mm width ring commercially by dividing from its multiples, using in-house developed tuttkiri (cutting) machine.

Reasonable price and short term delivery by integratedproduction system ( forging ~ turning ~ quenching and tempering ~ polishing ~ assembly )

Unified transaction by computer system from the orders to the deliveriesProduction cost and process control at each manufacturing process is managed unitary by our computer system. The time spent on management is minimized by this system and reduction of total production cost and strict delivery can be achieved too.

Cost reduction by using round bars as rolled condition(Material diameter 95mm or less)

Our integrated production( forging ~ turning ~ quenching and tempering ~ polishing ~ assembly ) can minimize the time loss of transportation and achieve the delivery in a short term. It also save the time and labor of inventry control at customer.
