Our Prayers Have Been Answered: Update on Shelby

Shelby Glisson has been quite the fighter. At 4:30am on August 12, 2014, Shelby finally got the call that a matching pair of donor lungs had been found. The surgery lasted approximately 12 hours. She is now on the long road to recovery. Her recent lung biopsy showed that there is no acute rejection, which is great news! However, prayers are still needed as she continues the long recovery process. We ask that you continue to keep our sister, Shelby and her family in your prayers. We are currently collecting items to send to Shelby and her family such as gift cards, snacks, and items to help support them as they stay focused on Shelby’s recovery in St. Louis.
