Our second Annual Wine Tasting was a huge success! We raised over $7,800 for the “Live Like Max” Foundation.

Thank you to our sponsors as well as those who pur-chased tickets for the Wine Tasting. Thanks to you, we were able to raise over $7,800 for the Live Like Max Foundation. The Wine Tasting took place February 17, 2017. The Chamber partnered with John & Lisa Pardington, own-ers of Holiday Market. Holiday Market provided great wine and great food.

“This year ticket sales and sponsorships were better than we anticipated, but we would like to continue to grow the event”, said Thomas Paden, Chamber Presi-dent.

Live Like Max Foundation provides heart checks.. LiveLikeMax Foundation, was established to spread awareness to all student athletes the importance of getting checked yearly to avoid this senseless death. The goal is to provide echocardiograms and electrocardiograms through Beaumont Hos-pitals “Healthy Heart Check” program for student athletes at no cost and push to make healthy heart screens a mandatory part of all high school athletic physicals.

Fellow’s Creek Golf Club

Please join us for our Leads & Feed Luncheon. The Luncheon will be held at Fellow’s Creek Golf Club, 2936 Lotz Road, Canton. This great networking event will give you the opportunity to meet new, potential customers and give and get referrals for your business.

The Luncheon will begin at 11:30 am with a Mix and Min-gle. A lite lunch will be served at noon. Following lunch, each attendee will have the opportunity to give a 40 sec-ond commercial about their business. They will introduce themselves, talk about their company and let other at-tendees know what would be a good referral for their busi-ness!

Reservations are required and can be made by calling the Chamber at 734.453.4040 or registering on the website at www.cantonchamber.com. The cost for each luncheon is $15.

Please join us for our 3rd Annual Girls Night Out. It will be a fun night of socializing, shopping, discounts, re-freshments and other special surprises.

The evening begins: 6 pm Ladies will begin by coming to the Chamber Office where they will receive a special gift as well as a list of all the participating businesses.

6-8 pm Ladies can go to any/all of the participating businesses…they will be offering refreshments, dis-counts and other special gifts.

8 pm Everyone will head to Fellow’s Creek Golf Club on Lotz Road to close out the evening. You will enjoy m-o-r-e socializing, drink specials, light refreshments and lots of door prizes.
