We use only the highest quality structural steel to
fabricate American Mezzanine Systems. Our structural I-beams feature additional reinforcement for maximum strength and resistance to point loading. Our structural support columns are constructed from ASTM A500 square tubing to minimize localized deflection within the connections. Our connection system utilizes 3/4” or greater hardware and factory welded support clips. This unique system allows the columns to continue past the deck. This in turn allows us to fasten our all welded guardrail directly to the support columns creating an extremely strong personnel protection system.
American Warehouse Systems will design and install code
compliant mezzanine lighting and fire suppression systems for all mezzanines in all environments.Our mezzanine lighting systems are designed per 2006 IBC regulations and installed by licensed master electricians.Our fire suppression systems are designed and installed in accordance with the International Fire Code and NFPA.We will create our systems to meet your specific needs from standard storage to high explosive or cleanroom environments. Our standard mezzanine decks include; 20 gauge corrugated
steel roof deck (B-deck) and ResinDek® brand mezzanine floor panels, 20 gauge steel roof deck and diamond plate steel, steel bar grating in many different weights and galvanized steel plank decking.We also offer specialized decking for specific applications. These applications include fiberglass bar grating for corrosive or wet environments, stainless steel decking for FDA approval, or concrete prep work for a seamless integration to an existing second floor.All the many options offered allow us to truly create a custom mezzanine system, specifically designed to meet your exact requirements.
Each American Mezzanine System comes standard with a high gloss 2.5 mil epoxy powder coat finish. Our high quality epoxy finish creates a durable surface which resists chemicals and abrasions without running or blistering. Our superior mezzanine finish will out perform both wet paint and galvanization in any environment.
American Warehouse Systems is able to offer a variety of
guardrail and stair styles. Our standard guardrail system is an all welded assembly constructed of three closed tube horizontal rails and a 4” closed tube kickplate. Two rail systems, baluster systems and woven wire mesh guardrail systems are also available in addition to a number of access gate styles.Our standard stair is a one piece assembly factory welded and IBC 2006 compliant. OSHA stairs, exception stairs, ships ladders, caged ladders and alternating tread stairs are also available upon request.

Our pallet rack, Eagle Lock, utilizes the same standard
teardrop design that is favored by most pallet rack users, but we didn’t stop there. We use a closed tube design to create a pallet rack that is 20% stronger than the competition. Eagle Lock beams are a closed tube with an integral step for any decking option. Our automatic beam locks are replaceable to avoid unwanted beam replacement due to damaged locks. Our 2.5 mil epoxy powder coat finish is highly resistant to impacts, corrosion and moisture. In fact it even out performs galvanization in any environment!
