1 Central Furnace heating designs are certified to ANSI Z21.47 / CSA 2.32 Ratings shown are for elevations up to 2000 feet. For elevations above 2000 feet; Ratings should be reduced at the rate of 4% for each 1000 feet above sea level.3 Based on U.S. Government Standard Tests.4 The above wiring specifications are in accordance with National Electrical Code; however, installations must comply with local codes.
NATURAL GAS MODELS — Central heat-ing furnace designs are certified to ANSIZ21.47 / CSA 2.3 for both natural and L.P.gas. Limit setting and rating data wereestablished and approved under stan-dard rating conditions using American Na-tional Standards Institute standards.
SAFE OPERATION — The Integrated Sys-tem Control has solid state devices, whichcontinuously monitor for presence of flame, when the system is in the heating mode ofoperation. Dual solenoid combinationgas valve and regulator provide extrasafety.
QUICK HEATING— Durable, cycle tested, heavy gauge aluminized steel heat ex-changer quickly transfers heat to providewarm conditioned air to the structure. Lowenergy power vent blower, to increaseefficiency and provide discharge of gasfumes to the outside, allows common vent-ing with hot water heater.
Mechanical SpecificationsBURNERS — Multi-port, in-shot burnerswill give years of quiet and efficient service. All models can be converted to L.P. gaswithout changing burners.
INTEGRATED SYSTEM CONTROL— Ex-clusively designed operational program pro-vides total control of furnace limit sensors, blowers, gas valve, flame control and in-cludes self diagnostics for ease of service.
AIR DELIVERY — The multispeed, direct-drive blower motor, with sufficient airflowrange for most heating and cooling re-quirements, will switch from heating tocooling speeds on demand from roomthermostat. The blower door safety switchwill prevent or terminate furnace operationwhen the blower door is removed. (Fanrelay and 35VA control transformer is stan-dard).
STYLING — Heavy gauge steel and"wraparound" cabinet construction isused in the cabinet with baked-on enamelfinish for strength and beauty. The heatexchanger section of the cabinet is com-pletely lined with foil-faced fiberglass insu-lation. This results in quiet and efficientoperation due to the excellent acousticaland insulating qualities of fiberglass.
FEATURES AND GENERAL OPERA-TION — These High Efficiency Gas Fur-naces employ a Hot Surface Ignition sys-tem, which eliminates the waste of a con-stantly burning pilot. The integrated sys-tem control lights the main burners upon ademand for heat from the room thermo-stat. Complete front service access.
