Qué es America’s Best Genetics?America’s Best Genetics (ABG) es un programa genético completo ofrecido a los clientes de Amer- ican purebred swine industry. Se compone princi- palmente de miembros con orientación comercial del National Swine Registry (NSR), la asociación de razas puras americanas Yorkshire, Land-race, Duroc y Hampshire de cerdos, pero también incluye las empresas exportadoras líderes en inseminación artificial (IA). Los miembros ABG han estado propor- cionando crías de cerdos Yorkshire, Landrace, Duroc y Hampshire a todo el mundo durante décadas. El programa de evaluación genética, Swine Testing and Genetic Evaluation System (STAGES™) de NSR, ha facilitado el progreso genético a través de una variedad de carac-terísticas de importancia económica por más de 25 años.
