Here recently I announced that the pa-per version of our media would be hereby stopped because the expenses of produc-ing the publication have outweighed the amount of money we stand to make. In tough times its not about how much you spend but about how much you save. In these times its important to condense your worth to your most used assets, and to not be afraid to pinch pennies. In the same manner it should not be that big of a deal for our readers to use our deals on this website. We have made it easy for you to save money at a time when everyone is cutting back all they can. So you say, “But Randy, I don’t have a printer.” You are kidding me right?? A $50.00 in-vestment will save you thousands per year and that is what is stopping you from using our deals that are up to 70% off? There is another way you can use the of-fers on this website. Pull them up on your smart phone and show the manager on shift and they will give you the offer. Sign the receipt leave it with them for their paperwork and you should be good to go.
If you know someone who can benefit from this website its in your best interest to tell them about us. Its just like anything else, the more peo-ple who use our deals the more money I can save you. Don’t be too proud to use them because our advertisers would not do these awe-some deals if they didn’t want you to use them. Save money and your life will be so much less stressful. Heck if I were not the person running these deals I would be us-ing them myself. Pick 5 per month and make a commit-ment to the team that you will use them. It gets easier as time goes by and you will start to see how much money we can save you. The more deals people use, the better deals we can work out in the future!

For years I was in the repossession and collection business. I don’t miss it by far because it taints your views on all people, you think they are all bad just give them a few seconds. I learned throughout the 10 years of do-ing this and the bail bond business that all people will have ups and downs in their life. Some are at the top of the skyscraper one day and the next year they are in the worst pickle you would ever dream about. I found that people die, get sick, un-employed, hurt, and a bunch of reasons be-side that causes many people to meet the bottom of the valley in their life. In all my years in the very negative business it taught me how to hold onto the positive. When I left the recovery business, I made a pact to myself that the next business I had would be one that helps people. DealMaker didn’t make it. The little lake rag was loved by everyone but loving the paper does not pay the bills. I stared Amerishop.biz bring out the best in people and make them open their eyes and shop American business.
Our deals are set to save our customers in the battle torn territory of Lake Ozark, Missouri region. In closing, I have found that what hurts our people the most is when they do not help one another. Help is not a handout, but a hand up. That is what our advertising media has been accomplishing for mid Missouri families for over 8 years. How much have we saved YOU through our efforts. Send us an email at [email protected] and let us know! In the meantime, help one another. Ev-eryone falls and makes an ass out of them-selves once in a while. Its in people’s best interests to look at the good in our people or America will soon have nothing left. Use these offers because they not honly help you out, they help out your local Mis-souri businesses -- businesses that employ your friends, your children and your fu-ture.

Get an ice crushing machine or a good blender set to crush ice and prepare enough for two fat old-fashioned glasses. Before you add ice to glass, muddle 8 sprigs of mint with teaspoon of sugar, till pasty in the bottom of the glass. Fill the mint and sugared glasses with ice to the rim and then pour your bourbon over top. Stir with short straw till drink is mixed. If we have as good a race as we did last year, you’ll remember the drink till next Derby.

www.amerishop.biz12 HISTORY
In 1928, numerous hallmark events transpired: Ame-lia Earhart’s becoming the first woman to fly an aircraft across the Atlantic Ocean; Alexander Flemming’s discov-ery of penicillin; Shirley Temple’s birth; and Republican Herbert Hoover’s presidential triumph over Al Smith; and more.1
But Eldon, Mo., has its own claim to fame in that same year, on July 9: The Rock Island Lines’ 100-car train—the largest ever to leave that depot—departure for Kansas City, Kan., to be loaded with a new wheat crop. E.J. Boyer, conductor, A.G. Darrall, engineer, H. Francis, fireman, and C. And I. Apperson, brakemen, comprised the crew. And the same railroad would set another record the following year, in June 1929. More than 123 million gross tons were handled over the St. Louis-Kansas City (Kan.) terminal division, according to old Eldon Adver-tiser files—the highest single-month weight volume ever transported over that division. In yet another record, 5 million tons were handled on a Thursday, 24 trains hav-ing been run on that single day. But before that initial aforementioned record was set, on June 21, 1928, a news story announced that flood wa-ters had terminated railroad service between St. Louis and Kansas City (Kan.), except for on the Burlington line. It was reported that south Miller County had received some of the rainfall, the Osage River having risen 8 feet in a single day, followed by a 3-foot rise during the fol-lowing night, stopping the Bagnall ferry. Following those early records produced by the Rock
Island Lines in Eldon, this portion of the railroad line did suffer some setbacks, however. With building and fire codes still in their relative undeveloped infancy, and anti-incendiary materials yet in their early stages, in most building structures, fire presented a constant cata-strophic risk. Some of the Eldon residents who attended the Fourth of July picnic in 1929 must have recalled witnessing the flames that destroyed the depot. As the crowd enjoyed the American Legion celebration at the event, at about 9:30 p.m., fire was detected in the elevator that operated alongside the tracks. With flames bursting from the el-evator when the firemen arrived, the depot was leveled. The fire department was able to save nearby build-ings, but the 4,500 bushels of the previous season’s wheat that had been stored in the elevator were destroyed, and the estimated total damage reached about $15,000—$190,560 in 2010 dollars. Further, two years later, on Sat., July 25, 1931, fire destroyed the Rock Island coal chute. Flames were seen billowing from the coal bun-kers, and when the doors were opened, flames spread the entire length of the building. With flames bursting from the elevator when the fire-men arrived, the depot was severely damaged. The fire department was able to save nearby buildings, but the 4,500 bushels of the previous season’s wheat that had been stored in the elevator were destroyed, and the esti-mated total damage reached about $15,000—$29,235 in today’s dollars. Further, two years later, on Sat., July 25, 1931, fire destroyed the Rock Island coal chute. Flames were seen billowing from the coal bunkers, and when the doors were opened, flames spread the entire length of the building.
Nevertheless, despite the flames that scorched the proverbial pages of the Rock Island Lines history and marred its Eldon depot area, nothing can detract from the rich history of that railroad, its facilities in Eldon, and its prowess during a period of great want in Ameri-can history. It was a surging success story amid cataclys-mic losses and suffering nationwide. (It was reported in the Nov. 27, 1979 edition of The Daily Reporter, of Spencer, Iowa, that the Kansas City Terminal Co. Was terminating service to the Kansas City [Kan.] to Eldon and Eldon to Owensville routes. Paragraph 7 of the article reads: “All together 741 miles of track were eliminated from service. The remaining cuts were between: Kansas City and Eldon, Mo., Eldon, Mo. and Owensville, Mo.; Albert Lea, Minn. and Rake, Minn.; Adrian, N.M. and Tucumcari, N.M.; Limon, Colo. and Colorado Springs, Colo.; Andarko, Okla. and Mangum, Okla.; Fordyce, Ark. and Camden, Ark. and Bucklin, Kan. and Dodge City, Kan.” The final para-graph, 13, reads: “A large problem in the future plans is the more than $30 million debt incurred by the Rock Island. Many creditors have wanted the railroad sold so that they may be paid off.”)2

Well you have heard it before, there is a time for everything and then there is a time to pass on some things. We have made a deci-sion to close the print version of the paper to help promote our best part of the business, our website and QR Code marketing pro-gram. Good news....no more cutting out clum-sy coupons or wasting your time thumbing through endless pages of rubble that has little or no use to you. Its time to get down to busi-ness and show you the DEAL. Scan any of our QR CODES and simply show the deal on the phone to the person behind the counter ac-cepting the deal. You can print our deals from the website simply by pressing the print but-ton. Ebook versions of our paper will con-tinue to be placed online. Ample advertising through several different media types will replace the print version of the Amerishop paper with other quality marketing to drive people to our website. Feedback is always welcome. Let a friend know, the deals you love are going online exclusively. Don’t forget to use our Hundreds of QR Codes posted public throughout Central Missouri. After 6 years, we have to go with what people want. People want the deals, and they
want them easier then kicking through an old dusty paper rack. They want up to the second news, which is another thing that Amerishop now offers on our website. Spread the word Jett Communications has moved to the new age. It was time to put the old papers in the recycling bin and move on to the New Way of communication online. Thank you to all of our readers for con-tinuing to make Amerishop the best place to find the BEST DEALS without you we could not have made it possible. Our final paper will press in April 2012. Be sure to place this website in your favor-ites.

I have to tell you about an experience that I had. My tooth got out of hand, I work all the time in case you didn’t know that, and I had an original molar number 30 that went bad. I had it filled when I was age 19 and it just went away after all these years. I was in pain! Like a lot of pain and all of the dentists that I called were ready to rip my head off. Do you know how much a root canal and crown goes for most of the time if you have insurance. $2700 was the original bid from an office in Jefferson City and then $2500 from another dentist around here at the lake. To make a long story short I noticed there was a new dentist office in Osage Beach next to Imos. They were awesome. Immediately scheduled an appointment and did all the work as I needed and wasted no time at all. I paid a SUBSTANTIALLY Large amount LESS then the other dentists and my pain went away. If you really want a good dentist office that understands life and will get the job done so you can get back to life…Get to Osage Beach
Family Dentistry today. Thanks to the kind folks at my new dentist office. You deserve to be treated Better! -Randy Dinwiddie

When you join the United States Army, you’re joining one of the oldest branches of the United States Armed Forces. The size of the Army makes it possible to employ the largest number of soldiers from any of the other branches. The Active Duty soldiers who comprise the largest sector make up 488,000 of the force. The Reserve units add another 189,000 soldiers ready for action when their coun-try needs them the most. If being a part of such a distinctive branch of the United States Armed Forces wasn’t enough to get you to join, there is a long list of benefits you will enjoy. Listed below are just a few of the benefits of serving in the United States Army: • Paycheck - Seeing as being a soldier in the Army is a job, you will be paid for your time. The job you hold as well as your rank will determine the amount you are paid. Other factors such as dependents, maritalstatus, deployment, active-duty status, housing status and marital status play a role in the amount you will be paid. • Retirement - Most companies in the United States have done away with their
retirement programs. In the United States Army, you can retire with a monthly in-come after only 20 years. • Tuition Reimbursement - Those soldiers who obtained a college education before en-listing in the Army can receive assistance in repaying their tuition. • College Education - The Montgomery GI Bill and the Army College Fund make it possible for you to receive up to $70,000 to go to college. • Travel - As a soldier in the United States Army, you will be able to be stationed in different bases within the United States and around the world. • Sign-Up Bonus - This is one of the big-gest incentives for many people to join. You can receive up to $40,000 if you sign up for a career which is highly specialized or un-dermanned. While enlisted, you can also qualify for re-enlistment bonuses. There are several other benefits you can enjoy as an Army soldier. To find out more contact Sergeant 1st Class William Robb at (573) 635-2132 or logon on to www.goarmy.com.
