3. Scale of pay: Pay in Pay Matrix-Level 2 - 19900-63200 and other allowances as admissible. 4. Essential Qualification:

(i) 10th pass. (ii) Knowledge of Hindi/English.

(iii) Shou ld possess a valid dri ving li cence for both heavy and li ght vehi°cles. The licence shou ld also be val id for hill y area~ and it must not have any adverse entries.

(iv) Should have a good knowledge o 1· the general procedures of dail y, weekly and other types of maintenances of the veh ic les. He shou ld be capab le of locating defects and repa iring the defects of the var io us components of Petrol /diesel engi nes, li ghting systems, suspension and steerin t' systems, mechanical transmission systems and hydrauli c brake systems of Motor transpo11 vehicle and should have knowledge of various lubricants and their specific uses.

(v) Should have adequate knowledge o f the works of fitter and shou ld be well conversant with the duties of a Motor Meehan ic.

5. Other desirable Qualification:-(i) Should have 1 (one) year experi ence of working as Motor Mechanic in any repair

workshop/Garage. (ii) Should possess a Certificate/Di ploma in automobil e trade from any recognised

institution .

6. Age: 18 to 27 years for General category applicants and 18 to 32 years of age in case of SC/ST candidates and 18 to 30 years for Other Backward Classes (OBC) as on 31-03-2020 The upper age lim it is also relaxab le for retrenched Central Govt. employees/Depaitmental candidates/Ex-servicemen and other eligible categories as per rules.

7. Place of work:- The employment is with liability to serve anywhere in the Union of lndia including Military service with a mobilized Survey unit. Accordingly, if required the candidates selected at Dehra D un , Gandhinagar, Patna, Bengaluru, Delhi , Jammu, Jaipur, Chennai, Pune and Lucknow office can be ordered to serve anywhere in lndia as and when required and with the Mobile Survey Units. They must be prepared to drive in plain and hilly areas oflndia

8. Methods of Selection:-(i) The candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria of the above post will be called

to undergo the test and Practical/Skill Test for assessment of actual knowledge of Motor Driving and its maintenance/repair.

(ii) The candidate must note that mere fulfillment of essential qualifications do not make them eligible to be called for test and interview. In the event of a large number of applications being received in response to this advertisement or through concerned employment exchange, the concerned Appointing Authority reserves the ri ght to limit the number of candidates to be called for the test by applying an appropriate criteria

(iii) The duration of selection process (Test and Practical/Skill Test) may extend to about 2 days and candidates are required to make their own an-angements for stay. The date of selection test wiJI be intimated directly to the candidates.

(iv) There will be no interview as per Govt. of h1dia, DoP&T' s OM No.39020/01/2013-Estt. (B) Pait dated 29-12-15.

9. Method of Application:-Candidates fulfillin g the above conditions may apply to anyone of the above Offices/GDCs on

prescribed application form. The under mentioned documents should positively be enclosed with the application form. ·

(i) One self addressed 1 OX22 cm size envelope duly affixed worth Rs. 22/- Postal Stamp on it.

(ii) Attested photo copies of Educational qualification, val id Driving License, Caste ce1tificate, Date of Birth ce1tifica tc..: in support.

(iii) Attested photo copies of experience certificate of Motor Driving. Vehicle repairing work and certificate/diploma of A utomobile trade if an y.

(iv) Two pass port size photograph or the candidate duly attested by a Gazetted officer one should be affixed on the appli cation form .

Candidates already in service or Central/State Govt. & those of public sector undertaking and autonomous body financed by the Govt. of India should apply through proper channel. They are also required to attach "No O bjection Certificate" from their present employer along with the application form. 10. Last date: - Application forms duly fil led in the prescribed (given below) format should reach the above Offices/GDCs on or before 31-03-2020 positively. Applications received after the last date will not be considered.

Note:- Incomplete application forms and those found without the required attested documents will be rejected on the initial stage itself and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
