AMHA oPen CoMPetition ProgrAMOpen competition showcases some of the Morgan breed’s best ambassadors and as a promotional tool it can’t be beat. Sur-veys show that most new Morgan owners discover the breed through friends and seeing Morgans compete at open event.
Don’t let your hard world and success go unnoticed! Wheth-er you are competing for your own accomplishment or to promote your business, if your Morgan is showing open, it belongs in the AMHA Open Competition Program.
“Finding the right words to describe my feelings when I received our Open Competition award at the AMHA Convention is a difficult task. To simply say thank you is not adequate. The pro-gram you structured and coordinated, the words used in the presentation, were unforgettable. The standing ovation was not anticipated and was shocking—thrilling! We left with warm and fuzzy feelings and a glow for me which seems like it will never fade! All because of a great little Morgan horse!”
-Stayner Haller
AMHA PAtHwAys ProgrAMWhether you enjoy trail riding, training, or working the farm with your Morgans, your time counts in the AMHA Pathways Program. As a Pathways member you are one of the breed’s best representatives, promoting the Morgan’s suitability for any job, be it work or play. In Pathways, you are recognized for the time you spend riding or driving your Morgan in a non-competitive setting. Eighty percent of Morgan owners report enjoying their Morgans this way! If you are one of these peo-ple, the Pathways Program was designed for you!
“Pathways is a great way to get yourself out enjoying your Morgans.”
-Carole Mercer, Oregon
“Keep up the good work for all of us who own and cherish our Morgan in a quiet way.”
-Deborah Scates, Michigan
“What a good idea this program is! Keeping track of hours is a great incentive for me to keep riding my mare all year long, as well as looking for new places to ride.”
-Ann Paquin, New Hampshire
