June 3, 2009 To Whom It May Concern: I am writing with a few kind words about Ami Judkins. I first met Ami just over 2 years ago through a mutual friend. Ms. Judkins walked through the doors of my agency, Right Turn to offer her services as a volunteer. Our program was experiencing growing pains as an early, startup non-profit – Ami assisted me in developing several systems, database, and billing procedures. Ami is a self starter. Our program has greatly benefited from Ami’s ability to problem solve and develop a well functioning administrative office. Her ability to solve problems and advance our operations have been spot on. 6 months into her time working as a volunteer, I approached the board of directors for Right Turn and convinced them that we needed to hire Ami. We were a startup nonprofit struggling with change, needing to reach the next level. Ami makes the work place fun. She brings a wonderful energy to our clinic, fundraisers, and, in a close clinical setting, provides a supportive shoulder to people receiving services. Our client’s look up to Ami, as it is her face that greats people when waling into the clinic. I am not surprised to see Ami gravitate towards furthering her education. Since I have known her I have observed her to be a hungry to learn. Ami’s drive to connect with people and manage their needs has been a wonderful asset to her skill set. Our agency has been put in the situation of unfortunate restructuring and layoffs. It is with great difficulty that Ami’s position has been subject to budget cuts. I am thrilled to see her refocus her efforts towards teaching. Ami possesses many transferable skills to support a next step as a teacher. To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing with a few kind words about Ami Judkins.
