Amphenol Group SummaryAmphenol was founded in 1932. It is one of the largest manufacturers of
connector in the world. Amphenol was drawn into China market in 1984, and
it was listed on NYSE in 1991. As one of the best company in NYSE, Feb.10, 2006
was named as “Amphenol Day”. The sales figures was up to $4.6 billion in
2013. Currently, Amphenol has more than 85 operation facilities in the world
wide. So far, China has 19 sole corporation or joint ventures. The headquarter
of Amphenol is located in Connecticut. The population of employee is more
than 39,000 in the world.
Amphenol Sine Systems introduction
Amphenol Sine Systems is a sole corporation below Amphenol Group.
It was founded in 1967 and joined in Amphenol Group in 1996. Due to
the reorganization of business group in Amphenol Group in 2007, it was
placed within the IMA&I Group, which is specialized in International Military
Aerospace & Industrial applications. Amphenol Sine Systems was drawn into
Xiamen in 2004. Next, it was set up connector research and development
center in Shenzhen in 2008. In the year of 2010, the factory in Xiamen was
moved to Shenzhen and merged together formally. Our company owns
high speed precision stamping machines, injection machine, automatic
and semiautomatic assembly machine as well as high precision testing and
measuring instruments. Company has qualified with the certifications of
ISO9001-2008 (Quality), ISO13485: 2003 (Medical), IRIS (Railway), AS9100 (Aero),
TS16949 (Auto) etc.
Our products sold at home and abroad. They are widely used in industrial
diagnostic, automobile, overloaded connections, telecommunications,
health and military fi elds. In china market currently, we mainly promote AT,
ATM, ATP, AHD series connectors, which are widely used within engineering
machinery, industrial diagnostic fi elds; promote M23,M40 series connectors,
which are used within servo drive and encoder feedback applications;
promote RT360 series connector, which are used within HV & EV and endure
large current and high voltage; promote M12, 7/8”, 1”, M35 series cable
assemblies products, which are used within factory automation and control
signal transmission or power. All of products meet the standard of NFPA 79

Our innovations and experience as an industry leader in connector technology and total interconnect solutions allow us to offer such features as our FlexGrip™ Backshell System and RockSolid™ Contacts. These and other features combined with a simplistic design approach reduce initial procurement and assembly cost, while ensuring compatibility to all other existing standard layouts.
MotionGrade™ M23、M40�AND�M17 products are ideally suited for advanced servo drive encoder feedback applications, packaging, robotic, printing, machine tool, medical and automation environments where control signal transmission or power are required in a robust and compact delivery system.This series has been acquired UL2238 standard, fi le E224856 & E316693.

下降曲线
下降曲线描述一个安全工作区域,它受电流和环境温度的影
响.在下面的线性坐标上,纵轴为电流强度,横轴为环境温度。
这个曲线是电流强度减小到80%时而得到的电流负载能力
曲线。
电流负载能力曲线是互配连接器受到不同的电流强度通过
测试而得。把不同的电流强度,环境温度数据记录下来。利
用这些数据,代入公式中,在图上描点。把这些点串联起来所
得到的曲线即为电流负载能力曲线。
Derating Curve
The Derating Curve depicts a safe operating zone in which amper-
age and ambient temperature are the factors. This curve on the
chart is an 80% reduction of the current-carrying capacity curve.
The current-carrying capacity curve is determined from tests in
which the mated connectors are subjected to different levels of
current. At these levels of current, the temperature of the hottest
spot of the mated connector and the temperature inside the test
enclosure are recorded. Using this data, plugged into a formula,
points are plotted on a chart. When the points are connected, the
completed curve is the current-carrying capacity curve.

Cut braid shield to 0.5” from cable jacket and pin wires.

Slide “seal nut” (A), “cable grommet” (B), and “backshell” (C)
onto cable as shown in figure 1.
Remove outer cable jacket per dimension (42mm) shown in figure 1. Make
sure exposed shielding is not nicked or cut.

Accurately locate and tighten tie wrap (D) 8mm from cable jacket (Figure
1).
Trim excess tie wrap as close as possible to “ratchet body”.Refer to
“Reference View – A” shown below.
Trim the braided shield flush to the edge of the tie wrap (D), exposing the
individual wires as shown in figure 2.

Strip individual wire leads to expose 5mm of bare conductor as shown in
figure 2.
Crimp contacts (E) onto stripped wire leads (Figure 3).
Insert crimped contacts (E) into connector cavities (F)
(Figure 3). Verify contacts are properly seated once installed.

Tighten “backshell” (C) to connector (F) as shown in figure 4. Use a 24mm
open end wrench for the backshell, and a 25mm open end wrench for the
connector. Tighten to a recommended torque of 10 Nm.
Slide “shielding clip” (G) over cable jacket as shown in figure 4.
Push “shielding clip” (G) into “backshell” (C) until it stops against inside wall
as shown in “Reference View-B” . Clip must be seated over exposed
shielding and not over cable jacket.
Note: clip must be slightly compressed to allow it to enter into the backshell.

Push “cable grommet” (B) into “backshell” (C) as shown in figure 5.
Thread and tighten “seal-nut” (A) onto “backshell” (C) as shown in figure 6.
Use a 24mm open end wrench for the backshell, and a 25mm open end
wrench for the seal-nut.
Note: Seal-nut torque required to properly retain & seal cable may vary
depending on cable construction.
