UPLIFTING, EDUCATING, ENTERTAINING AND ELECTRIFYING OUR COMMUNITY
BEG INNING MARCH 2015
INVESTMENT OVERVIEW
COLLABORATING WITH AND SUPPORTING CRITICAL NONPROFITS ANNUALLY THROUGH EVENTS AND PROGRAMS
Welcome to a nonprofit, cause-driven,
mission-based public gathering space
dedicated to elevating Jacksonville by
uplifting its citizens individually to
strengthen our community as a whole.
By providing access to thousands of free
events celebrating our diversity within the
themes of arts and culture, mind, body and
spirit wellness, and community engagement, Unity Plaza will nurture our
city and all of its people. Based on the successful models of Bryant Park in
New York City and Pioneer Courthouse Square in Portland, Unity Plaza will
help fuel the revival recently ignited in Jacksonville’s urban core.
The status and sustainability of a community lies in the overall well-being
of its citizens. Taken together, the events and activities described here
will establish Jacksonville’s own life-enriching urban park that will uplift,
educate, entertain and electrify our community.
Please join us in writing the next chapter in Jacksonville’s rich history.

HARNESSING THE POWER OF SHARED EXPERIENCES TO UPLIFT AND STRENGTHEN OUR COMMUNITY
When people visit Unity Plaza, we want them to connect
with more than just a place. This urban park will be a place
of constant discovery, where people seek meaningful
connections with their neighbors, their community, and most
importantly, with better versions of themselves.
A strategic and holistic approach to programming is at the heart
of Unity Plaza. We will unite the community through a diverse
mix of performing arts, wellness, and community events.
“The excitement, the work and the demand for Unity Plaza has been building for so long. I relish this moment of cool breezes before its storm of awesomeness.”
Tony Allegretti Executive Director Cultural Council of Greater Jacksonville
365 DAYS ORIGINAL EVENTS WELCOME TO A NEW ERA OF PUBLIC PROGRAMMING
Unity Plaza’s state-of-the-art, all digital amphitheater will
serve as a home for our extraordinary local talent and
world-renowned musicians. Development of the Unity Plaza
Bandshell and Amphitheater, with its groundbreaking, original
event lineup, brings a new canvas upon which Jacksonville can
mix, celebrate and continue to mold its unique identity.
Central to Unity Plaza is our holistic approach to programming,
ensuring the needs of the whole person are addressed by
offering daily, weekly, and monthly classes for physical, mental,
and spiritual well-being. Through sponsorship support, our
classes will be accessible to the entire community. Unity Plaza’s
mission is to inspire and empower each person to live up to their
fullest potential for vibrant health and happiness.
Unity Plaza’s community-based programing will join the hearts
and minds of local and global thought leaders to provide
inspiring education in leadership development, environmental
awareness, visual arts, dance, musical instruction, charitable
group stewardship, literature, and many other personal
