O N E W A Y G U A T E M A L A U P D A T E
May 2007 we left for our first term
as Kentucky Missionaries to LatinAmerica. After a year at language
school in Costa Rica we arrived in
Guatemala where immediately we
launched into children and youth
ministries.
With the help of dedicated young
adults we began an outreach ministrycalled ONE WAY GUATEMALA. OWG
is an intense evangelism project that
focuses on children and youth in public
venues, especially public schools.
Since its inception in 2008 OWG has
seen more than 20,100 children,
teenagers and adults pray to receiveChrist, with more than 11,400 doing so
in 2011 alone. Now our dream is to
build a children and youth conference
center. We continue our outreaches
through One Way Guatemala.

2011 was a year of God’s favor. With
the faithful support and prayers from so
many we were able to host 10 teams
and do more than 105 outreaches
through our One Way Guatemala
ministry.
Debbie was the featured speaker forthe regional Missionette Retreat with
nearly 500 girls where about 200
responded to a salvation call. We saw
nearly all the girls in an extended time
of prayer. God baptized dozens with
the Holy Spirit. Earlier in the year we
were also the featured speakers for the
National Children Department’s annual
conference for more than 790 leaders.
We were able to do nearly $25,000
worth of construction projects that
impacted three different churches.
We saw more than 11,400 children,
teenagers and adults pray to receive
Christ in our outreaches through One
Way Guatemala. We worked with localchurches to help them incorporate
those reached.
In December God saved our lives
during an armed robbery in which we
were the targets. We are so grateful for
friends like you who pray and give so
we can serve in Guatemala. We are
stateside until January 2013 to raise
support for our next term.
Thank you for giving and praying2011 HIGHLIGH TS
