www.satcom-services.com AMT 60 Modem Series Application The AMT-61 is the single box solution to the DVB- SCPC remote terminal applications. The unit comprises of the AMT-75 receiver card with the AMT 30 modulator integrated with the IP Gateway. With the added features of MPEG de-encapsulation this package gives the most cost effective single box solution. A receive only version can also be supplied if required. Overview AMT-75 Demodulator is designed using “Software Defined Radio” techniques to ensure unrivalled flexibility, and upgrade paths to meet the increasingly demanding requirements now and in the future. This is achieved by its ability to operate from 16kbps-155Mbps (45Msps); implementation of powerful FEC’s:- eTPC, DVB-S and ASI traffic interfaces The AMT-30 modulator includes a BPSK, QPSK, 8PSK and 16QAM modulator and demodulator with data rates from 16 kbps to 10 Mbps in 1 bps steps. The IP Gateway enables Advantech AMT modems to be connected directly to local area networks without the need for expensive stand-alone routers. The heart of the IP Gateway is the extremely flexible Communication Processor, which provides a wide range of routing and traffic control services between the interfaces. The provision of servers and clients like: DHCP; DNS; FTP/TFTP: NAT/PAT and AAA give the unit the ease and flexibility of connecting into a network with the minimal of configuration, security from un- authorised users making changes but also giving the option for full manual configuration and control when required. Additional feature include MPE De-capsulation Data Streaming (PES) IP Gateway (Virtual LAN (VLAN) capability for customer security if used with multiple demods) OPTIONAL FEATURES: Turbo FEC ¾, , 0.95 Rates Tx only eTPC FEC .5 to .95 Rates Rx only DVB-S/S2 on Rx only Concatenated Reed Solomon outer/ Viterbi inner FEC Power Supplies and High Stability Reference for BUC and LNB Optional Front Panel Display and Keypad (shown) Telecomms Gateway option o Up to 4 T1/E1 G.703 multiplexed links HIGHLIGHTS cont.
